Steve is a very long time friend of mine.

He is an absolute knucklehead on amnesty. Also in many ways utterly clueless about the state of the nation. I think the reason he and his ilk are so attracted to amnesty is that 1) they think (incorrectly) that this is a net gain for big bidnez, and 2) the have no idea how to address the real problem. They know that the Federal/state/local behemoth is absolutely out of control, and if it is not fixed “something really bad” will happen. I have yet to hear him say what “something really bad” is, despite questioning him on that repeatedly.

And I like the guy!

“I love Steve Moore, one of the best free market economists in America. I have known him for 25 years. This is awesome news.”

I too have know Steve for 25 years and yes he is an excellent advocate for free markets. But like Larry Kudlow, he is utterly idiotic about amnesty. Quite simply, he doesn’t get it. For many laissez faire types it is all about the markets, never about the culture.

Any time, Sally. Glad I could point out the bleeding obvious to some of you fools who still think those establishment “think tanks” haven’t sold them out a long time ago.

Gotta watch out for anyone with fancy book learnin'. Better to be a "think tank" of one.

I’m sure that scam factory is well served by having people possessing your “skill” carrying their water.

By the way, miss Romney yet? Some still don't get it?

Oh we get it. In 2012 we had a clear choice at the polls. We could have either voted for the liberal, pro abortion, anti gun rights, pro big government architect of the current health care law...or we could have voted for obama.

Let me know how you’ve advanced the cause of conservatism sometime (apart from whining on the internet).

I’ll have nothing to do with the bastardized, hackneyed joke that you are trying to pass off as “conservatism.” Yours is heavy on the “con” part with little other substance.

As I suggested, please find some like-minded True Conservatives™ and form a think tank of your own. Who knows, you might give Heritage a scare.

I don’t need to compete for the title of chief establishment tool. I’ll be happy with everyone just ignoring them to death.

And it wouldn’t be that difficult—half of your work would be done for you already. For example, just go to Heritage’s webpage right now; heritage.org, if you’ve never been there (snort), pick something, and write a rebuttal. What’s stopping you?

Because the worst thing one can do to a public relations front is to ignore them.
