AUSTIN (KXAN) - Special agents are investigating the deaths of three people at Fort Hood, according to fort officials.
The bodies of one man and two children were found Tuesday morning around 7:15 at an on-post home.
Officials are calling the deceased military dependents.
The U.S. Army Criminal Investigations Command is looking into what happened, but does not believe there is a further threat to the community.
Workplace violence.
Again ?

Or possibly a murder of the two children and suicide of the male. In any case, a very sad situation.

Since the police are saying there is no threat to the community, it's the only thing that makes since.

Why send a Dear John letter if you’re deployed? That gives the husband to disappear with the kids. He may have found out she was cheating with someone on base. As for no threat, it makes sense. The gunman is dead. He shot himself.

I thought that was a possibility then I decided the two kids pointed to a more conventional relationship.
