An Open Letter from Wendy Davis
Wendy Davis Texas ^ | 1/21/14 | Wendy Davis

Posted on 01/22/2014 2:10:39 AM PST by Libloather

Dear Friend,

As our campaign has gained momentum, our opponents have gotten more and more desperate. But now they’ve stooped to a new low by attacking my family, my education, and my personal story – playing politics with the journey that has been my life.

Mine is a story about a teenage single mother who struggled to keep her young family afloat. It’s a story about a young woman who was given a precious opportunity to work her way up in the world. It’s a story about resiliency, and sacrifice, and perseverance.

And you’re damn right it’s a true story.

The Morning News, however, reported over the weekend that Davis became a single mother at 21, not 19, when she got divorced from her then-husband, who was directed to pay child support.

Nothing about filing for divorce a day after her husband finally paid off her law school bill?

Ms. Davis is a lot like Mrs. Clinton in that she had to hitch her wagon to a man to get ahead.
Only difference is that Ms. Davis threw her sugardaddy away when he became not relevant.
Mrs Clinton still milks Bills teet.

Ahhh, poor Abortion Barbie... Once again the victim of such meanness. So... is THIS going to permanently affect her mental health too?

After all that Sarah Palin, her family and her community (to include the terror attack on her church) have endured.. a mentally unstable democrat is actually going to make that whining argument that HER family was “attacked?”

Yeah... Got it.

According to this, Texas women’s single motherhood “stories” make the case for Ms Davis’ governorship, and for 20+ week abortions.

RIP truth and rationality

I'm really hopin' that Sarah comes down to Texas with the time is right and works with Abbott to put 'Windy' in her place.

My wager is that after 'Windy' is defeated in November, she will relocate to either Kalifornia or DC 'cause the political money in Texas will dry up quickly.

She's a native Rhode Island RAT and absolutely needs to get gone from Texas.

She should go home...she could get elected in Rhode Island with little effort on her part.

Wendy Davis attended the MLK March in San Antonio, and the local NBC affiliate interviewed her. The reporter who interviewed her said that "her handler" was there, and would allow questions ONLY about the March and MLK.

NO OTHER QUESTIONS were allowed to be asked.

She’s just tuning up her act for the road company of “The Vagina Monologues”. You know, that stage show where a T*** gets on stage and says, “shut up, I’m talking”. No dialogue, just mono-me-me-me-logue.

Costumes are funny though..

For the sake of Texas and the rest of these United States I hope her ‘journey’ comes to a screeching halt real soon. Well, at least a halt, the screeching always goes on, doesn’t it.

Gotta engage the Clinton-era parsing detection protocol. Wendy referred vaguely to her "opponents", hoping that Abbott would get the blame for what is obviously an internecine Texas Democrat knife fight.

Can anyone explain to me why it makes a difference on whether she was 19 or 21? The other things (like leaving the day her husband paid off her college loan and losing custody of her kids) seem to me to be more important. However, people around here keep harping on the 19 vs 21 thing.

I’m not sure why this is being fought at time. Normally things like this
would be discussed in the last two months or so before the general election.
Heck the primay hasn’t been held yet. It maybe that Davis is pushing this
out now so it can be claimed to be old news and not campaign worthy
come the general.

Because it's a lie. She keeps claiming she was a 'teenage' single mother (as if it gives her a higher rating on some kind of martyr scale).

-------

It's a lot like the media claiming a huge number of 'children' are killed by guns, when what really happens is 14 to 19 year old gang-bangers blow each other away.

Hope that helps. :-)

Wendy Davis: "Mine is a story about a teenage single mother who struggled to keep her young family afloat. It’s a story about a young woman who was given a precious opportunity to work her way up in the world. It’s a story about resiliency, and sacrifice, and perseverance."

It also appears to be a story of drug and alcohol abuse, undisguised prostitution and just plain bad parenting on her part. All of which leaves aside the fact that we have yet another utterly mediocre intellectual quantity waving their Harvard Law sheepskin at us as if it were some academic talisman, looking for a cozy government billet.

If we are to be completely honest about the matter.

She's claiming to be a poor unmarried teenager living in a trailer park. She's playing the "victim" card and the "me too" card.

She had to pay child support to her ex-husband. Was she ever a deadbeat mom?

Leftwingers love telling others about "the struggle".

That was the pitch for supporting the palestinian war on Israel. That was the pitch for supporting Communists against private industry. That was Hitler's pitch too.

It’s a mistake to dismiss her chances; there are millions of liberals in Texas waiting to back her no matter what.
