It says something, that the 23yo daughter stayed with her step-father. None of it good. Sad.
I don’t care about any of this. Wendy Davis’s public record is appalling enough to disqualify her and we should stick to that. Looking for personal dirt will only make her look like a victim.
It says something that both daughters are supporting their mother’s campaign, too.

If I’m not mistaken, Wendy was employed by a high-powered DFW law firm when she divorced her second husband. For someone in her tax bracket (at the time) $1200 a month was chicken feed. The real question is why child support was set so low..let me guess; the family court judge was a Dim (and a pal of Wendy’s), so he did her a little favor.
One more thought: Jeff Davis’s original divorce filing cited Wendy’s extra-marital affair as a reason for dissolving their marriage. Has her boy-toy ever been named? I’m guessing he was a plastic surgeon, judging by the amount of work she’s had done, and her Democrat inclination to let someone else pay for it.

Wendy Davis left both girls in the custody of her second husband while she went to Ivy League college to earn her law degree. The 23 year old was in her late teens when Ms. Davis essentially abandoned her to go to law school at the Ivy Leagues, instead of SMU law school here in Texas. The 17 year old was in her early teens when essentially abandoned to Dad.
Abandoning a 14 and 19 year old (thereabouts on age) to second husband isn’t as bad as abandoning babies. But leaving the girls with Dad while she left the state to go to law school, then divorcing him AFTER he paid for it, is quite revealing of her character or lack thereof.
She stayed married while in law school out of state. Let him be a cross-country baby-sitter while she went to Ivy League. THEN divorced him.
