The guest list for President Obama’s upcoming State of the Union address just got more interesting.
Yesterday, Sean Hannity said he’d be attending as a guest of Rep. Louie Gohmert. Hannity is a conservative pundit for Fox News. He’s had Gohmert, an outspoken critic of Obama, on his show a number of times. The Tyler Republican has even filled in hosting Hannity’s show on a few occasions.
Turns out, Hannity may have his own political ambitions in the Lone Star state.
“The answer is yes, I’d think about it,” Hannity said when a viewer asked via Twitter about his inclination to run for office eventually. “It would either be in Texas or Florida.” Hannity, who has indicated he’s leaving what he calls “anti-conservative” New York, later contrasted the state with Texas.
“How does Texas have a $12 billion surplus when they’re in debt up to their eyeballs in Albany?” he asked. He indicated Texas and Florida’s lack of income tax were appealing lures....

I don’t listen to Hannity much anymore, but I heard a snippet or two of his show today. He’s already hemming and hawing about moving to Texas, saying he has lots of people who depend on him in NY and contractual obligations that run through 2016.

I’d be happy for Texas to Adopt Allen West. I would vote for him in a twinkle of the eye.
And he would be welcomed with open arms by the voters.
Not only the ComDems but the FL GOP dumped on Allen. I am sure he remembers.

Sean’s not going anywhere. Just trying to appeal to the listeners who are now listening to Levin.
He ain’t coming here. He’s backed off leaving NY until his son graduates high school. He’s more inclined to go to Florida.
But I like that he’s going with Louie.

West was screwed over by the Saint Lucie County board of Elections and the Supervisor Gertrude Walker. The Republicans did nothing.
He made great speeches before local Tea Party groups, too.
All that said, he doesn’t want to investigate “Obama” because he’s worried about his political future. That is thoroughly disgusting.

It's funny when I heard the remarks with him saying it, I was picturing his father Mario Cuomo saying it.
Oh that is a group to which we all want to ascend..(descend) Alec Baldwin’s...yep...if you say you are going to do it...do it.
He’s going to move, I have no doubt, but he’s going to milk it for all the reality show drama he can. Hannity isn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer and I can’t stand to listen to his repetitious shallow yammering, but there’s not much wrong with his politics and now that he’s got all the money he’ll ever need, why not put his beliefs into action where they will do some good.
Even the most ardent Hannity fan knows he’s not drawing in new converts, he just preaches to the choir. If he were to use his name recognition he could probably win a seat in Congress, and vote what he believes.
