.S. Sen. Tim Scott, R-Charleston, went on Fox News to combat comments by a NAACP leader who said the states first African-American U.S. senator was a puppet of the Tea Party.
Were not talking any longer about standing up for the rights of a racial minority,Scott told anchor Megyn Kelly. Were now talking about finding a way to have a conversation about philosophical bigotry.
The Rev. William Barber II, president of the NAACP in North Carolina, told a Columbia gathering on Sunday: A ventriloquist can always find a good dummy. ... (T)he extreme right wing down here (in South Carolina) finds a black guy to be senator and claims hes the first black senator ... and then he goes to Washington, D.C., and articulates the agenda of the Tea Party.
Barber did not back down from his comments during an appearance on CNN.

Not even the usual liberal "If anyone anywhere felt uncomfortable interpreting my remarks I'm sorry they did so"?
Liberals can find good dummies, too, Rev. Barber, they are called blacks.
What this NAACP moron doesn’t get is that the “Tea Party Platform” would be the best thing for this country. Less taxes, more freedom, and more jobs. Of course, I guess that goes against the grain of the “takers”, so they can be bothered with such trivialities.
So a liberal NAACP “leader” calls a prominent, conservative black a puppet for the White Man. They don’t even try to be original with their insults anymore. Just the same old crap, over and over and over and over again. Give this fool a title like “Reverend” and make him some NAACP official to give him a little false stature, then let him loose to start firing off insults at conservative blacks.
Thank you Senator----I treasure the privilege of hearing you say those immortal words. "Philosophical bigotry" sounds like a great book title.
I believe the race pimps are worried that they’re losing their grip.
