Agreed. Unfortunately I don’t see that happening.

That’s exactly right, the state has a vested interest into making sure there are as many folks as possible who are broken and become reliant upon the state. The state’s powers involving civil marriage is a good way to achieve this. It also provides a way to punish and keep punishing those who are never going to buy into whatever impossibility the state is calling marriage at the time.

I would suppose that if the folks in any state didn’t do anything about the federal imposition of killing unborn people in 40+ years, they probably won’t over ‘gay marriage.’ Although the victims of the state punishment for not accepting ‘gay marriage’ are more visible and able to complain as opposed to the victims of abortion, so that part is different, I suppose.

I'll continue to be pooh-poohed by the deluded ones here, but I'll contend again that this election was RIGGED enough to get McAwful and Herring just past the finish line. And exactly THIS was the prize being sought by their sodomite handlers (note how this was their very first order of business - ignoring the VA Constitution.)

I happen to agree with you. Fraud got Obama in. Twice. It works and Dems are masters at it. Why would a Conservative state suddenly elect extreme liberals? Fraud is the only thing that makes sense.

Why would a Conservative state suddenly elect extreme liberals?

It's all about hanging onto their Gov't jobs and contracts.

It’s more about liberal fraud than anything else.

The fascists are finally out in the open confirming that the former USA is now a lawless banana republic. Methinks they have not thought this through to its logical conclusion, namely that once we get on board with their operating premise and refuse to abide by the law, they will need to keep up in line through raw violence.

How do you think that’s going to work out?

The GOP does seem intent on handing the country over to socialists and communists.

Bbbut, I thought, all we had to do was elect people with an "R" after their name! Once we've got a majority in the Senate with "R"s, then Obama will be stymied and everything will be fine!

That's what we've been told!

You, you, you mean, it's not enough just to vote for the "R"?

Herring does this. McAwful talks about unilaterally accepting Obamacare’s Medicaid money and the debt that comes with it, and there’s talk about some kind of executive orders to change our gun laws.

I hope our moving across the Potomac to escape the Freak State wasn’t a fool’s errand.

It doesn’t look like there are very many sane states anymore.

Lets all realize that no we dont want gay marriage. Its not the best for society. But if gay marriage were to be allowed there will be about 3 of them in a state of 8 million. Which actually means the right is winning. Preach the word and let is work. Because it is !
