In other words, a path to single payer by the end of 2014 DOES exist.

... path to single payer

If I had a dollar for every time some Freeper posted that on this website, I could buy a new truck for cash.

Yup.

” Hell “ ain`t gonna break loose.

The Statist will NEVER allow their plans to fail, no matter how much more it will cost. Money pit? No problem , we own the printing press.

Path to a true neo-marxist state to save their obamacare? So be it.

Nope.

That might have been their original intent, but they’ve bungled it so badly the vast majority of Americans want the federal government to have NOTHING to do with health care. As FReeper HiTechRedneck put it so well, they wanted “a soft fail, not a spectacular fall off the edge of the aircraft carrier fail.”

No! It doesn't.

You are projecting your fears onto other people's statements that declare nothing of the sort.

and who would be that “single payer”?

a government that is $17 Trillion in debt?
stop the “single payer” mantra.

It is unrealistic to expect the govt is going to take over the entire healthcare system and nationalize it, prmise ot pay everyone healthcare bills, and make doctors and healthcare workers into (involuntary) federal employees. Not without massive coercion against individual liberty to decide where when and how hard to work

MEDICARE and MEDICAID are “single payers” and look how well that is expected to work in the next 2 years as the obamaconomy sinks beneath the waves
