Democrats Discuss Income Inequality at Posh St. Regis Hotel
Brietbart via FOXNation ^ | January 22, 2014 | Mike Flynn

Democrats have made the issue of "income inequality" the cornerstone of their platform going into the November elections. In less than two months, the House Democrats will discuss this and other issues at the swanky and posh St. Regis hotel in Manhattan. Rooms start at $695 a night if you would like to join them.

Of course, you can't simply show up at the DCCC's "Issues Conference." According to the email invitation, "[t]his annual Issues Conference is open to 2014 DCCC Business and Labor Council Platinum Members and to our 2014 Chairman’s Council Members." I'm not certain what it takes to be a "plantinum member," but I imagine it takes the kind of money that doesn't blink at a $695 hotel room. Helpfully, the DCCC says you can contact them to determine one's "eligibility."

These bastards are accomplishing one great good - they are removing the last vestige of conscience or remorse that one might have experienced when the Day comes to get rid of them.

In order for income equality to prevail liberty must succumb.

Actually, “Income Inequality” in a democratic society should be CELEBRATED!

Why? Because that’s the end result of a free market:

-People always have and always will have differences in skills, intelligence, motivation, and yes, different family upbringings.

-Some people work more than others or are smarter than others or more talented than others or are simply luckier than others.

If a Democratic society had “Income EQUALITY,” that tells us that the use of FORCE must have been applied to crush the differences in people’s intelligence and motivation.

A fair and just system promotes fair giving and fair taking.

The giver should not give too much nor too little.

The taker should not take too much nor too little.

A hamburger flipper gives a service that anyone can perform. A brain surgeon gives a service that requires great knowledge, skill, and discipline.

A hamburger flipper gives much less than a brain surgeon, therefore a hamburger flipper can not take as much as a brain surgeon.

A simple example but it illustrates the point. The same could be said for a concrete laborer and a crane operator, a framing carpenter and a fine furniture maker, or a cashier and an accountant, and so forth.

Each deserves respect as each is performing a needed service for society.

Free enterprise, without combine whether guild or monopoly, is the only system yet devised that promotes, on average, fair giving and fair taking. It is the most just system known.

If the hamburger flipper demands too much he will be dismissed to be replaced by someone else. If the hamburger flipper is compensated too little, he will leave for better prospects.

The alternative system requires a planner, an omniscient planner, a planner who can foresee every situation and every need of every individual. Of course such a thing is impossible. And even if it where possible, it would not be desirable. The intrusiveness would be intolerable, let alone the infringement of my right to choose for myself my course of action. Yet none of this common sense has stopped despots from luring the unwary with promises of “equality”, or prevented the murders of hundreds of millions killed in the name of “the common good” the plan of the egotistical and arrogant.

What the Democrats are really talking about is unfair giving and unfair taking. They are not talking about justice, only the accumulation of power.
