Though the MSM is still spinning it, I've been thinking that the Texas Castro brothers are behind the take down of Abortion Barbie. Wendy's trying to make "lemonade" by pinning it on Abbott [and hoping to raise money]. It always seemed odd that the Dallas paper would go with a Wendy hit piece.

The Washington Post's Chris Cillizza : QUOTE "..... Unless, of course, Davis is seen as running a sub-par candidacy. And that is where the danger in these résumé questions lies for Davis. If the campaign is dogged by stories about her bio and her star — which is ascendant at the moment — is viewed as tarnished in some real way, then her ability to reserve that place at the front of the line is far less certain. And, remember that both Julian and Joaquin Castro as well as a slew of other ambitious, young Texas Democrats are eyeing Senate race in 2018 and 2020 as well as the governor's race in 2018."....

The Castro brothers are Communists, raised that way by their flaming Communist mother. If the voters put them into national office, the USA is finished.

I would make this analysis. There are several Democratic player groups in Texas, and a couple of them might be behind Wendy. The blunt truth? The Castro brothers know their time is coming, and several of their backers are lining up. I would expect at least one of them to be big-time players in 2016, and both playing major-league ball by 2018. They are young enough....to influence politics for the next two decades in Texas. Wendy may falter easily (I suspect), but the Castro brothers are a totally different story. At least one of them will be a contender for President in 2020.

Wendy is toast. When a woman like her gives up the custody of her children, pays child support and gets a restraining order to refrain from illicit drugs and alcohol on child visitations, in Texas politics, it is over.

It's never a wise idea to castigate a paraplegic who can't even walk for never having ‘walked in my shoes’.

Off to the side... Why does the writer use "as well as" twice in the same paragraph? The word "and" works better in at least one of those instances. "Both and "and". That is one of my pet peeves about language. That, and everyone is always "reaching out" nowadays. They could just call. I guess reaching out is now a catch-all meaning "I sent a text, an e-mail and/or made a phone call".

If Perry were running again, Davis would have easier sailing. Still, I am unconvincded Abbott will be tough enough in the campaign ahead; same with Cassidy in LA.

Perpetually negative comments notwithstanding, Texas is still a shining light to the world, outside the inner big cities.

And not every Hispanic will line up to vote for Communists. Of course there must be hard hitting, truthful campaigns on our side, always. But we can coalesce with others even if a minority among Hispanics, because we care, we work, we VOTE.

Our kind of mentality are also having more of the children than are those who are constantly streaming through the abortion clinics and who think “free” “birth control” is the greatest thing going.

The one thing we must do above all is impart our knowledge and values to those children. And instill in them a willingness to FIGHT and hold onto traditional Texas and America.

Agree on all accounts. The Castros are going to make Henry Cisneros look like a choir boy & there are 2 of them- twice the “fun”.

Keep the libations handy. This could get bloody.
