Jesse Ryan Loskarn, a one-time star staffer who was the former top aide to Tennessee Republican Sen. Lamar Alexander, was found dead Thursday afternoon following charges he possessed and distributed child pornography, according to three people familiar with the matter. Loskarn, 35, is believed to have committed suicide.

Loskarn’s sharp and sudden downfall stunned Capitol Hill, given his reputation as a well-regarded and savvy operative who was close to GOP senators, powerful political aides and members of the media. He was arrested last month by U.S. Postal Service investigators on charges that he possessed and distributed child pornography following a raid by federal agents on his home.

Loskarn was released into the custody of his parents’ Sykesville, Md., home, where he was ordered not to use the Internet and to wear an ankle bracelet while his grand jury proceedings played out.

Next question of course is this.... Was he ‘encouraged’ to commit suicide?

I can see lot’s of powerful and connected people who might feel in danger of revelations from him.

The desire to look at naked children is just plain sick. But soon it will probably be celebrated as an accepted alternative lifestyle.

If he was a pervert, he did us a favor by offing himself.

But, there’s always the possibility that the scum in this administration purposefully planted child porn on his computer—I’ve read stories about this. He may have offed himself because he got trapped and saw no way out with the courts being lefty.

Assuming the charges are legit.

OTOH, how long would it take the NSA to find kiddie porn on your computer?

(Hint: they will, even if they have to put it there themselves, they will.)

snip- “Luke opened the email from another computer and it stated that he was a whistleblower and wanted Luke to break the story so he was sending him these photos exclusively and specifically stated that Luke needed to download the photos.

Fortunately before downloading, Yahoo gives a preview of the photos and the photos were actually graphic child pornography.”

How convenient for Alexander that his aid kills himself.
Or did someone close to Alexander have him taken out.

Maybe the Rino people do. Conservatives don’t.

Look, in today's society, I ain't buyin' that the guy did ANYTHING. These are very weird times we live in, and all of a sudden, ANYONE could be a 'child pornographer'.

It's just THAT weird out there these days.

You may be right. But an aide to a moderate republican is not likely to be the type of person who would defend their innocence to the death. They’re experts at mediocrity.

In comments on articles about those accused of possessing kiddie porn I have already seen apologists saying, “it’s not like they actually touched the child,” or, “viewing it is not really bad like producing child porn is.” The slippery slope.

Yes but I will put a bullet in their head.
That’s the difference between guilty or innocent.

I just think an innocent man would fight were this man new it was the end.

Hard to say. Certainly the way to bet, but even an innocent man is not immune to despair when the full weight of a malevolent government comes down on him.

What public defender (selected by the very people who want to crucify him) will be clever enough to spot any errors the government’s best software experts made planting “evidence” on his electronics?

Which other “they” would he shoot?

Guilty or innocent, as an enemy of the state/obama he can look forward to a short life sentence, not in Club Fed, but in gen pop in the most violent prison available, coming in with every inmate being informed that a new short-eyes is joining us.
