Does it really matter what he said? The liberal thought process on this works this way, I think: Known social conservative + something about women + something about sex and birth control = outrage. Right? Its basically Pavlovian. Which is why even many Republicans who sympathize with social conservatism rub their temples at the thought of nominating a loud-and-proud social con as nominee. You dont want biased, soft-headed media lefties setting the parameters for who you can nominate, but on the other hand, if you know your guys going to spend the campaign tapdancing around soundbite landmines sometimes justifiably, sometimes not why bother?
This is, as anyone who reads at a third-grade level will tell you, a shot at Democrats for practicing an especially narrow form of identity politics, not at women.

If huck was the type who actually DIDN’T CARE what these people said, or even told them to F off, I would support him.
But he is going to get all apologetic and fawn all over them, so THEY win
The general theory is "LM + C + [x] = O"
Where
LM = Liberal Media
C = any conservative
[X] = any comment, about any thing
O = OUTRAGE~!!
Based on the results Obama got with Julia, Sandra Fluke and the War On Women in 2012, I can conclude two things.
1) Huckabee is absolutely right.
2) At least half of the women in this country are actually proud of having no libido control.
Huckabee is right about this one. Dems look at women and all they see is our reproductive organs.
I will go out on a very sturdy limb and postulate that men have a greater problem controlling their libido than women.
There’s nothing in that quote that’s insulting to women. However, there’s plenty that’s insulting to Democrats, and that’s why the liberal news organs are all aghast in mock outrage. Huckabee has turned their “war on women” meme around and shined a light on the true offenders.
That may be true, but it’s not how the demonic party sees things. The demonic party sees a woman as an opportunity to sell artificial hormone pills, and to kill babies with a vacuum cleaner.
You have a point.
It goes back to lo fo voters, who don’t know the difference between citizens rights and government shackles, just as long as it’s got a nice ring to it, and it’s free. Honestly, I think it’s another dog whistle to minorities.
But young women are allowing men to completely dominate them sexually. They give in to them at increasingly younger ages, they talk about sex non-stop, their teen magazines are fairly pornographic and they dress like whores. I have always believed that most women’s sexual desires begin at a much later age than men’s. In my day, that’s why we had mothers and fathers who refused to let us date at fourteen years of age or be alone in a bedroom with some horny, pimply teenage boy. (Happily, that notion never occurred to me!)
So, in the end, what difference does it make (gee, who else just said that?!) if men have stronger libidos than women? Of course they do! But until women say “No!” nothing is going to change.
...but, they repeat themselves.
****2) At least half of the women in this country are actually proud of having no libido control.***
And they keep all the boys very, very happy! That is, until the boys begin to drip, drip, burn, or develop a chancre.
Hey meet the girls!
S.Phyllis and G. Nora! They will treat your right!
I guess I have a different take on this. I think Huckabee is saying these things (that are correct of course) but his motives are mixed - and I think that that is what irks most conservatives. He’s in this for Mike Huckabee. If Sarah Palin or Ted Cruz were to say this it would have an entirely different flavor about it - and stronger Democratic hyperventilation.
Not quite.
They don't see reproductive organs, they see sexual playthings.
If they really meant those organs to be used for reproducing, they wouldn't push abortion so hard.

Agree completely. Progressives NEVER look at either gender in terms of reproductive anything.
Progressives are about ENDING reproduction, or controlling reproduction to the point where all there is are just progressives and their fellow travelers, which they will in time pare down to only those most pure.
Huckabee always looked to me like he would fit perfectly on the set of ‘Andy of Mayberry’
