The Sept. 11 Memorials board of trustees voted on the price. The adjacent museum, which opens in May, wont charge families of 9/11 victims, and will give discounts to children, senior citizens and students. Also, admission will be free to everyone for three hours every Tuesday evening.
At $24, admission to the museum will cost more than a trip to the Guggenheim, which charges $22 a person, and about the same as a ticket to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, which has a $25 suggested admission price. While the Mets admission is only a suggested fee, the $24 payment will be required to visit the 9/11 museum.

Why does it cost so much a year to opreate?
Like ObamaCARE, are Moslems allowed in for free?
I’m OK with a fee but that’s pretty steep in my opinion.
My cousins wife was killed there. Don’t I count as family. Guessing family members are going to have to show identification which we do not need for voting in Jersey City.
Clearly 0bvmmer had his hand in this; doesn’t want anyone visiting and if they do they get punished with $24. Anyone know the content of the board, meaning names of those on it? I’d venture a guess that some Muzlims are on it.
You can bet there are payoffs to somebody.
Good to see they are charging so that at least tax payers won’t have to pay for this. I would imagine it will make a good amount of money especially at first. And then it will just be a steady stream of money year after year. I would go if I ever am in New York just to see what it is all about.
Well, at least this will mostly fall on liberals as Conservatives are forced to abandon Manhattan. Funny, for $24 these days, with the value of Manhattan in freefall, you could probably buy the entire island.
Don’t worry. We have funds for Al Queer-a.
