There are well over 300 million. We are supposed to be impressed by this? Not to mention, the sign ups either get Medicaid or subsidies. That means everyone else is supposed to pay for their care.

With a republican administration that headline would read,
Republican health plan four million shy of goal.Sub Head. The failure of this sack of worms has long been evident, but GOP will not admit it.

Of course their definition of “sign up” is a far cry from actually getting insurance and paying for it. If you even register on a site you are logged as “signed up”!

The TV ads begin with an announcement that since January 1st, new health care regulations has now made it easier for people who are un-insured or under insured can now ... etc.

The ads go on to advertise for a name brand provider and agents are standing by ... call now.

I've never done it, but I wonder ... are these clever satancare ads or brand insurers hooked UP with satancare .. or what ?

I’d like to know where are the 15 million the LIB-iots said were uninsured? Shouldn’t they be “signing-up”? This is such BS. If you took all the taxpayer money stolen to pay for this BS, each of the 15 million could have had free tacos and sombreros for the rest of their illegal lives.

Bet most of the sign-ups are people who had insurance before, but had it cancelled because of ObamaCare. How many previously uninsured have signed up? And how many of those are not Medicare?

My neighbor who is self employed (and an obama voter) had to sign up. He is a pretty successful photographer and grossed almost 300k last year. Obamacare literally put him on medicaid, and enrolled him in welfare, and even assigned him a case worker. He is mortified, and finding it nearly impossible to get off of it. The obamacare people will not allow him to modify his plan, and say any mistakes made to a plan requires the creation of a new user. He is convinced now that this requirement to crrate a new user is only for padding the enrollment numbers

How would that happen when the upper income limit for an individual to enroll in Expanded Medicaid is $15,800; for a family of four about $33,500?

Besides, EM is not an exchange plan. One of you is making things up.

bet 90% are medicaid

In WA State it is about 2/3 Expanded Medicaid, 1/3 commercial, paid plans. If those who have enrolled in a commercial plan but not yet paid actually do pay, the number of commercial would double (half the total comm enrollees have paid).

I’m not making it up, and I do not believe he is either. He had no reason to lie to me, and he is very mortified about the whole situation.

“bet 90% are medicaid”

Yes, and many of the actual so-called paying customers haven’t paid and don’t know if they have insurance or if they can find a doctor to take the ins.

My sister in law is about 60 or 62. Her husband is 66 and just retired. They lost their employer coverage. He has medicare but she does not.

She is in fair health but has illness requiring brief hospitalization. For them, her insurance became a real problem.

They are educated and motivated. I would suggest there are more like her than the 10% . As a matter of fact, the numbers of 60 ish uninsured now is likely uncountable.

An uneducated medicade type will likely not have the motivation or ability to go on line and penetrate the crap to sign up.
