President Barack Obama coming to Nashville Updated: Jan 25, 2014 Posted by Kayla Moore
NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
President Barack Obama is coming to Nashville on Thursday to talk about jobs.
One of Obama's advisors says they hope to work together with the public on this tour to find work and economic security for job seekers.
Music City is just one stop on the president's tour across the country that will begin after his State of the Union address on Tuesday.
You have our condolences Nashville.
Good reply from GOP Rep Marsha Blackburn in this news report that can’t be posted on FR due to copyright.
The worst act to show up in Nashville since Billy Ray Cyrus.
Obama’s jobs creation record is second only to his signature legislation, Obamacare.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. —With the announcement of President Barack Obama’s pending visit to Tennessee, Congressman Marsha Blackburn issued a public letter directed to the President. The following is Congressman Blackburn’s statement:
Welcome to Tennessee. While youre here take a look around because this is what a thriving economy looks like. Despite what your teleprompter may tell you, our success is not a result of your failed policies. Its rooted in whats always made our state and country great- hard work, ingenuity and fiscal responsibility.
“... work together with the public on this tour
to find work and economic security for job seekers...”
Gee, simply enforce existing emigration laws
and INSTANTLY create 5 million new job openings.
Yes it was a good response. I found it on a site that can be posted here and did so: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3115729/posts

Lemme guess -— he’ll be making a speech at the Parthenon?
Oh, no. I have to warn my daughter. I’m sure traffic will be awful.
Obama. ‘jobs, blah, jobs, blah, jobs blah, I have been saying this for five miserable years now. Blah!”
Wow! Won’t this be his first visit since those horrible floods a few years back..? Oh, wait...
“The worst act to show up in Nashville since Billy Ray Cyrus.”
Everybody rags on Billy Ray, but I have a friend in the business who has interviewed him a few times, and spent time with him. He tells me BR is a very nice, down to earth guy. He also says that Billy’s business model is “make hay, and as much as you can, while the Sun shines. I think that’s Miley’s philosophy too. Get it when you can, the retire, and enjoy life. Billy is!
LOCK UP YOUR LITTLE BOYS..
Phony leader coming to the capital of phony country music.
It’ll be interesting to which country stars show up to support him.
Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!
I wonder if he will have some good ole bands from Nashville again?
Nashville Musicians Rock For Obama

NASHVILLE, Tenn.- People in Iowa aren’t the only ones who love Barack Obama. In Nashville a group of Obama supporters put together a concert to rally voters for support.
In Music City, the group “Nashville loves Barack Obama”, had a concert to build support for the Presidential candidate.
About 100 people showed up to Sunday night’s event at the Exit/In. The group also registered new voters before the January 7th deadline to vote in the primary and gave out campaign paraphernalia.
Bands participating in the free concert included Hey Penny, Darnell Levine, The Lonely Hearts, Biscuits and Gravy, and The Lister Brothers (Jeremy and Richie).

No, he is auditioning for the Grand Ole Opry. I don't think he will do well, as he can't do anything right.
Good point. I don’t think the president ever publicly expressed anything about the terrible Nashville flooding. It’s as if it didn’t happen. The MSM barely covered the flooding either.
Where was he during the floods
Please stop calling him “president”, it makes my skin crawl. Call him the illegal dictator.

|Woo hoo!! And the first 27% is in!! Thank you all very much!!|
Fortunately, I have no plans on being in Nashville on Thursday.
I'm not a country music guy, so I don't really know anything about either band. But I was pleased to see this comment from Lady Antebellum's publicist. I think it's very smart for celebrities to keep their political views to themselves, lest they pi** of a lot of potential fans.
Unless, of course, political commentary is their thing. In which case, we need a lot more bands and musicians to speak their minds through their music!

A prayer I never thought I'd pray: Lord, preserve the life of Barack Hussein Obama, or whatever his name is.
I want him to be alive for his trial.
baraq is getting out of dc to speak to more college kids and play golf. Bet his stops are where the weather is warmer than dc. The speeches are his excuse for the trip.
