In the wake of a series of scandals that have plagued the Obama Administration, Texas Senator Ted Cruz released a statement asking if President Obama will announce meaningful action on the IRS, NSA, economy, Benghazi and ObamaCare during his State of the Union Address next week in our nations capital.
Shortly after the 2012 election cycle, news was released about a scandal regarding the IRSs increased scrutiny of conservative non-profit organizations like Catherine Engelbrechts King Street Patriots and True the Vote organizations.
Throughout the course of 2013, Members of Congress like Rep. Mike Kelly (R-PA) attempted to investigate the IRS and the Obama administration to determine the extent and complicity of this scandal. Over the next several days leading up to the presidential address, Sen. Cruz will focus on this issue (and four others) and why it is important that the President provide answers to the American people, according to Sen. Cruz statement, released Wednesday, January 22, in Washington, D.C.
Later that same day, Sen. Cruz released an additional statement expanding on the first issue regarding the IRS scandal. In this statement, Sen. Cruz quoted a letter he wrote to U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder in which he stated, Two hundred fifty-three days have passed since both you and President Obama professed outrage at the IRSs wrongful conduct. Sen. Cruz continued:
To date, no one has been indicted. And it has been reported that the FBI plans not to file any criminal charges. This is a sad state of affairs. The widespread perception of partisan bias, of manifest conflict of interest, besmirches the reputation of the Department of Justice. And it undermines confidence in rule of law.

Well, they’ve already tried to make a “scandal” of Cruz being on his wife’s health insurance plan. Hell, I would too rather than go on Zerocare.
I wish he would be the one giving the rebuttal.
I see the liberals are pimping a rumor that Greg Abbot isn’t really crippled.
Apparently its all an elaborate plot hatched in the 80s to coax abortion Barbie into saying mean things about him.
I really don’t understand why defeatism is so popular on this site.
Downplaying expectations is exactly what the left wants you to do.
Because I see little reason to get my hopes up.
Sure, I understand. But if you multiply that sentiment across the population it starts to advance the very thing you oppose.
Anti-morale posts by conservatives are identical to posts by leftists trying to front their agenda.
Optimism is my natural state.
I will not be broken.
I’m Cruzing with Ted!
John Boehner for the block.
How much do you suppose he is being paid to undermine the USA? In cigarettes? In bourbon?
[ But it was important to arrest a critic of Obama like Dinesh DSouza.
His crime: emulating Rat election tactics. ]
Dittoes!!!
[ BALL-LESS, GELDING, CRY BABY, DRUNK A$$ED BOEHNER, WILL HEAR NONE OF THIS! HE “LIKES” BARRY’S ‘D’ UP HIZ ‘A’. ]
My Nickname for Boehner: Bawling Brainless Ball-less Bonehead Boozing Boehner
May as well howl at the moon. Nobody will follow Cruz up that hill.
The Dems are counting on all the jerk-wad defeatists who routinely show up to post on FR threads like this who have no strategy of their own to win elections, but plenty of self-satisfied know-it-all spit-balls to shoot, all in the mistaken belief that any of the readers who are actually on the frontlines doing something about winning the 2014 elections give a rat's rear-end about what conservative voter suppressionists like them think.
For all they're worth the defeatists who claim to be on our side can all just go to hell and prepare a place for Hillary to join them there someday. Then they can sit around and swap their self-satisfied snarks all day long even as the ambient temperature there becomes perpetually less than comfortable.
FReegards!
