The NSA works fast. No telling how much cover they've provided for the traitors the past 6 years but in their defense I bet they do have a whole LOT more to cover nowadays and their knowledge is restricted via compartmentalize so they really don't know whose they work for or not unless they have a Snowden moment of clarity. I've heard a little about the types and amount of information they have at their fingertips from some former employees who've been gone a few years and it's truly mind boggling. I can only imagine what they have access to now with Obamacare being used as part of the ruse to link data from one source to another one and create a national citizen profile.

That was true last I did them but times have changed. It was called an SF-86 background check when I did them. For Top Secret clearances you had to interview family, co-workers, associates, etc...in addition to all the other standard checks.

I remember having to fill one out and how long it took. Just about everbody I knew called me telling me a Secret Serviceman had been to their house asking questions.
