“The Sunday Morning Bray”, by Bray!

Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” Matthew 19:21

It looks like the Marxists want to talk about anything but their failures. We have the worst economy in 75 years and they want to talk about a bridge and women’s libido like a magician using smoke and mirrors. Oh, they have their feigned outrage routine down of how insulting any talk of their victim groups is hate speech, but have no problem that 25% of this country is out of work thanks to their Marxism. There is only one thing standing between American full employment and that is their War on Women.

The war on women and their children started in 1965 with LBJ and the Great Society. They used their power to undermine women’s financial stability by kicking the main breadwinner out of the home and replacing him with starvation rations from the gummit. The Three Pillars of Propaganda (media, academia and the DNC) have beat down the father led family until it is a freak of nature. The single mother rations have dwindled smaller and smaller thanks to inflation so moms are deciding between welfare, self sufficiency and children. Rather than maintaining society as it was founded thousands of years ago, Marxists have to make the District of Corruption a larger and larger part of women’s lives to where they are married and then chained to it.

What a catchy little catchphrase , “The war on women.” There is really a war on women and every working family and business in America to the point of tipping this country into the economic abyss? Not only are the women being hurt, but everyone in the country and especially the poor are being damaged night and day. Using punishing regulations and confiscatory taxes they have managed to enslave more Americans on welfare now than any other time in the history of this country. They have to fake outrage about one invented story after another to keep the Low IQ voters from paying attention to things that really matter like their finances and what DC is doing to this economy. With 25% unemployment how can you even consider bringing in 30 million more illegal citizens?

The real war against women was convincing them that abortion is a valid method of birth control. This barbaric method of family planning is not only morally repulsive it damages women for decades and decades. Not only is it horrific to the baby and our social morality, it destroys women who suffer from the consequences of knowing they turned their womb into their own baby’s tomb. After they wake up and realize what they have done they suffer from 250% higher levels of suicide within 12 mos of the procedure and have massively higher levels of depression, drug, alcohol and sexual promiscuity which are all symptoms of intense guilt. They will not be helped through this and their only answer really is Jesus. These women and their dead babies are the casualties of the real War on Women.

The other War on Women is if they do have children, their families have been destroyed by the welfare system as well as the judicial system which allows marriage to be destroyed with little or no consequence. If their children do happen to escape the birth canal and avoid the Marxists’ most holy sacrament of infanticide, they will then be raised in a single parent family and then thoroughly indoctrinated by some the best trained brainwashers in the world. Women are left to watch their children stuck in poverty to be used as pawns in the manipulation game of income redistribution. This leads to higher and higher unemployment and welfare rates leaving them and their children as political pawns living a meager lifestyle with no chance of escaping the system. These are the casualties of the war on families.

The ultimate War on Women is Obamacare. This takes women who may have had health insurance through their company and has increased their premiums 30-100% while raising their deductibles to $5000 per family member and eliminated their ability to choose their own doctors. In addition they will be losing much of their treatments for breast and ovarian cancers to be turned over to a Death Panel more concerned with expenses than healthcare. Women and their children will be forced to maneuver their way through an IRS type bureaucracy to get medical care for themselves and their children. Even though they are going to be put into a healthcare maze. They have traded good healthcare for free birth control pills. Sounds more like the Indians trading Manhattan for some beads and they fell for it. This is the real War on Women.

The other punishment the Marxists have dealt to women is the gummit restriction of energy and artificially high prices through limiting production of gas. Gas prices are inflated at least a dollar per gallon which takes an extra $50-100 directly from the household budget. This dollar per gallon is repeated throughout the economy making food and every other item they use or consume cost more adding more and more burden on the average family budget. If those budgets are on welfare thanks to the elimination of men in the household the problem becomes more and more intense on the families. This is the real War on Women.

Is there a War on Women? Of course there has and it has been at the hands of the Marxists. They have destroyed the traditional family and replaced it with a non-caring machine to force them to vote for their own survival. There is not family cooperation or learning basic economic survival skills, but a series of forms and filings to provide you with the largest gummit piece you can carve out for yourself to make it one more month. The husband has been removed so the woman is left alone and destitute and nobody to feed her need for loving interaction. The husband visits the children once a month and pays some part of the bills, but never enough since rather than paying for one home he is now paying for two while she lives on welfare and food stamps, er…WIC. Now she is where the Communist Party always wanted her and every family in America, wards of their State and good little Marxist voters. Welcome to the real War on Women.

Pray America is Waking

Note: The above opinion is not necessarily my own, but FReeper Bray’s. If you wish to discuss this, please ping Bray.

Good morning AB, All….

AB, thank you for doing this thread, it means a lot to me.

I shall be singing at 10 am mass this week. I decided to give up church on Saturdays cause people were starting to think I was a 7 day adventist. Or something..

Thus I am posting this personal story early in the thread but if there are people in the world that can understand my dismay, it’s the folks on FreeRepublic.

And for all my bravado I find myself crying for having made so many people, people I like, mad at me.

Before, in honor of the thread topic, let me say that as I type it’s early in the Sunday morn but I cannot wait to see McConnell and all the elected Republican guys get on the Sunday talk shows and defend the Tea Party from those awful remarks by Schumer, Cuomo and that other liberal turd. All week I been looking forward to this because I know if a Senator Cruz, for example, had given a speech lambasting the Wall Street gang, or the NAACP or any voting group, I know the Dems would be out excoriating and defending their voting base. Thus I am eager to see OUR guys out and about and defending us.

Okay, here’s my story.

It’s that old excessive dog barking law and wait till you hear this.

As background, the Delaware Sussex county council had been trying to enact this ordinance since fall of last year. I am sick of laws and resented this law as I see it as something to be abused, specifically by my godawful neighbor. I showed up at the meeting and asked them to please do not sully this greatest place on earth to live by encumbering us with endless laws.

Over several meetings the matter was discussed but I stayed on it, going to county council meetings, GLARING at those who don’t seem to realize that MY RIGHTS COME FROM GOD….not them.

Anyway, I saw it on the county council agenda this week, kind of snuck in like. So I went.

GET THIS…..GET THIS…..the council had asked the county lawyer to investigate and see if another dog barking law or noise ordinance was already on the books in the Delaware state code.

So the lawyer…..who told me to call him “Everett”….heh, yeah, same guy...gave his report. And it does seem that there already exists a state law on excessive noise, with some very plain rules concerning dog barking. It defines dog barking as 10 mins. Or more, non-stop, over half hour span with majority barking, not to count if dog is teased or defending its territory.

Pretty specific and pretty fair as I saw it.

But the only Democrat on the Sussex county council SHE WANTED A LAW DAMMIT SHE WANTED TO PASS A LAW IT’S UNFAIR SHE WANTED A LAW!

So she STILL, despite the existance of a state law, proposed a new county ordinance anyway, hand to God.

Well I got out of that bench and began, real ostentatiously, taking pictures of these would-be members of the RULING CLASS and motioned for them to speak into my microphone.

GET THIS….ONE REPUBLICAN ALSO VOTED FOR ANOTHER LAW THOUGH ONE EXISTED!

I was livid and made a scene, yes I did.

Well the other three Republicans voted AGAINST the ordinance because, duh….ONE ALREADY EXISTS!

The LAST thing we need these people doing is enacting layers upon layers of laws that WE have to live with.

Guys, it’s been quite a week, you should smile if not cry. This dog barking law has been on TV and the newspapers and yours truly has been besieged….BESIEGED!

Phone calls….ALL OF THEM CONGRATULATING ME…..because guess what guys….PEOPLE DON’T FEEL LIKE WE NEED MORE LAWS, GOT TO HAVE MORE LAWS, NEVER MIND A LAW ALREADY EXISTS DO NOT MAKE ANOTHER ONE!

Mind you that Delaware legislators have been besieged by proposed gun laws, this anti-gun thing financed by Bloo0mberg and pushed by Beau Biden. A bunch of civic activists managed to defeat this….dear Lord one law wanted to take away our guns if we are “crazy”…..after passage no doubt we’d all be declared crazy. Beau Biden would declare us all crazy.

So I am sensitive to laws, the laws, no gun if you have blue eyes, no gun if you are hoarder (this one is real, hand to God), no gun if you are black sheep of your family.

LAWS, LAWS, GOT TO HAVE MORE LAWS.

So yeah….yours truly is a bit famous round these parts. I had to tell my mother-in-law not to panic if she hears my name, told her what I been up to. Been interviewed on two radio stations, me, a SELF-APPOINTED CITIZEN OMBUDSMAN-SACO-...that’s my title.

So I contacted my local GOP and asked that the councilman voting to enslave, the Republican one, should be censured for the senseless action of voting, knowingly….please remember that my friend the county lawyer, right there, READ THE DELAWARE LAW.

The Chair of the Sussex county council is a real friend…..he was the Sussex county campaign chair for Christine O’Donnell, he’s no creep.

Oh my, we had Facebook and email arguments. Of course he doesn’t want to sanction that council guy and silly me thinks nothing could be worse than an elected party member voting for new laws when one already exists.

His name, John Rieley, does not want to take any action and, ahem, he and I disagree.

All this weekend I been fighting with the entire executive board of Sussex county. Some really harsh words being exchanged. At one point I reminded John about his former position as campaign manager for Christine O’Donnell. I asked him what happened to him, what made him so lame.

Well you know, sometimes I get mad and my keyboard runs away with itself.

This morning he sent me an email telling me that no matter what he will always consider me a friend. This gave me such relief because with all my bravado, I really like John and didn’t want to make HIM the enemy.

Anyway, below the link to my column….oh and between the dashed lines the response from the Sussex GOP so somebody’s listening to me.

Pat,

I read your column regularly and did see your first mention of this on the blog earlier this week. I’m sure we will be taking a stand, but of course, I cannot speak for all of leadership without consulting them. Rest assured, we will be discussing this in the next day or so. One of us will respond to you with our plan of action as soon as a decision is made.

Thanks for taking the time to contact us about it to ensure that we were on top of it, and for your regular attendance and interest in our monthly meetings.

Best regards,

Linda Creasy

Secretary
Sussex County Republican Committee
302-841-9066

Two Sussex County Council people vote for ANOTHER dog barking law even though their own lawyer said one already exists in the Delaware state code. George Cole and Joan Deaver think we CAN’T HAVE TOO MANY LAWS...going for Federal dog barking law, IRS to enforce.
http://www.delawarepolitics.net/delaware-politics-and-tidbits-read-it-and-weep-the_12114___edition/

Anyway, thank you guys for indulging me. Being a SACO isn’t always easy, got to step on a few toes.

I welcome your suggestions, ideas and brickbats on where I should go from here….if anywhere.

OK, I read this post and you’re blog. Even read your reader’s comments. So were you drunk when you wrote it? ;-) J/K!!!

Seriously, that position (no NEW Laws when laws currently exist) is pure brilliance. It is almost impossible to argue against. Even in the comments one of your readers pointed out that if a current law isn’t working that it needs to be fixed, not another law to plaster over the bad one.

I believe it was Lincoln who said the best way to get rid of a bad law was to strictly enforce it. You don’t make another. Think Obamacare.

The Sunday before the “Obama” SOTU speech on Tuesday evening.. Truth be known, not many Americans care and....not many Americans will be tuning in today, and, for sure, very few Americans will be tuning in on Tuesday evening just to hear Obama tell lie after lie!!! Me, included!!!

Side bar....normally I never advocate boycotts, but “Subway” gets my loss of business. Their corporate tie-in with Amerca hater, Michelle Obama fills me with forever bye-bye talk, and no more Subway goodies, ever!!! Just one man’s opinion!!!

Good article, as usual, bray.

The War on Women is of course a clever fraud put forth by the Donks and media to mask the reality of The War On All Of Us by - TaDa - them! Everybody posting here knows that.

But it's not like the Stupid Party in D.C. isn't doing it's bit to help them out and trying and get a piece of the Washington Action. Thirty million more illegal aliens given the vote should end the War with total victory for them.

It just seems every battle we face is uphill and getting bigger with the consequences more enormous. But that's what happens when a country walks away from her First Love and consorts with the Devil.

Discussing not raising the minimum wage (accepting the premise that it’s a function of the government)

Regarding raising the debt ceiling: “We already have a debt the size of our economy.”

“The president taking an unreasonable position” “He’s the one that’s irresponsible”

Wallace asks if Mac has any suggestions: “Keystone Pipeline for one thing.”

George Stephanopolus, who asked the question during a Republican debate he was moderating back in early 2012. I remember it well.

You are absolutely right about it being a fraud put on by the dems and the media.

Georgie even admitted, that he, Carville and Begela get together each morning on a conference call to plot tactics. Can you imagine? So called journ-o-lists who work in very important positions for one of the so-called premier global news organizations bragging about not reporting on by SETTING the agenda they cover, and nobody seems to even care. In fact, I'm sure the other journ-o-lists were high-fiving and clapping.

Yet today we even get a New York Times article “investigating” the HORRIBLE Koch Brothers, and how their rich, evil tentacles are INFLUENCING people by daring to financially support the Republican party! No mention of George Soros, of course...

“stretch Gregory trying to bait Rand Paul on any hot button issue”

I didn’t hear all of it, but I liked when Paul talked about how a) he’s not sure there is a “War on Women”, b) how successful the women in his family are (his little sister is an OB/GYN w 6 kids), quoted statistics for the % of women in Law school, etc. (all over 50%), and that sometimes he worries about the men.

More on this story, here:

ABC’s George Stephanopoulos Admits Daily Calls with Rahm Emanuel February 5, 2009

We’ve all heard the tiresome refrain innumerable times.

Namely, the liberal mantra that Fox News is somehow biased, unfair or a mere arm of the alleged “Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy.” Never mind, of course, the equally innumerable independent studies and viewer demographic surveys demonstrating that Fox actually possesses a more evenly-balanced audience and greater objectivity than its competitors.

Despite that objective data, the Kool Aid-guzzling liberal crowd repeats this Earth-is-flat assertion.

Now, along comes the disturbing news that ABC News’s Chief Washington Correspondent George Stephanopoulos has been engaging in daily conference calls with new White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, who is known as one of the most shrill and unrepentant partisans in Washington.

This news comes on the heels of Stephanopoulos’s wife’s admission last month that he dialed her on his cell phone during Barack Obama’s inaugural festivities to weep in celebration.

Media bias, anyone?

As reported by Politico reporter John F. Harris, four-party telephone calls occur every morning beginning at 6:00 a.m. between Stephanopoulos, Emanuel, former Clinton Administration hack James Carville, pollster Stan Greenberg and Paul Begala, who is perhaps the most shrill left-wing apologist in Beltway circles. The conferences, however, don’t end there. They continue during the day, discussing “what’s happening, what the implications are of what’s happening and what’s going on,” according to Emanuel.

These calls, according to the report, center not just on objective news-gathering by Stephanopoulos, but rather “policy, usually some program Democrats can use to score points in the daily partisan brawl with Republicans.”

Perhaps this news will jolt even the hysterical Fox-haters into sobriety. But for now, the real question is why Stephanopoulos remains gainfully employed as a supposedly “objective journalist” at ABC and host of its Sunday program “This Week.”

Far from expressing embarrassment at the revelation, Emanuel calls this his “17-year conference call,” which he can “tap into anytime you want.”

And lest one dismiss these conversations as mere banter between old friends, Harris notes their critical value to Emanuel by adding that, “according to Begala, the expectation of a daily call is so great that Emanuel will sometimes call him and shout impatiently, ‘I can’t talk right now!’ and then hang up.” And Carville, who presumably has sufficient other sources of political analysis and news available to him, says that “he has come to rely on the calls as his daily fixture,” according to the report.

The report proceeds to describe Stephanopoulos’s role as that of “analyst and skeptic” for the others. According to Begala, “George is really a big-systems thinker. As a journalist, he is half of a political scientist, and because he’s not in the partisan battles anymore, he sees things differently.”

Begala adds that Stephanopoulos is often the source of ideas for Emanuel, as he sometimes wonders, “was this George’s observation that Rahm tweaked?”

Noting the irony, Harris reports that this revelation “is a sensitive point for Stephanopoulos, who shot to fame as a Bill Clinton retainer, and has worked hard to fashion a reputation as an independent journalist.”

Poor, poor George. It must be such a heavy burden to concoct an image of himself as an “independent journalist” when he so obviously is not an… independent journalist.

I've always wanted to post this story on this thread, since it deals with one of the 5 Sunday show hosts and how, in the innocent ABC News' "This Week" viewer's mind, watching Georgie interview a Republican, wonder if Georgie is actually a little biased... Oh, YES he is! And the other thing I often shake my head at is how Republicans can let HIM of all people "Moderate" one of their major debates. They sure don't call them the Stupid Party for nothing!

Stephanopoulos opens the first salvo on "Republican War on Women":

Newsbusters, January 8, 2012:

During Saturday's Republican presidential debate in New Hampshire, hosted by ABC, co-moderator George Stephanopoulos bizarrely pressed candidate Mitt Romney on whether the former Massachusetts governor believes the U.S. Supreme Court should overturn a 1965 ruling that a constitutional right to privacy bars states from banning contraception.

This whole line of attack, and the War on Women bull, was hatched during their continuing conference call--note that this entire SUCCESSFUL campaign was MADE UP by a Sunday Show host!

We need to ALWAYS be mindful of this, and watch This Week with that always in mind.

If the Republicans let him EVER interview them or moderate another party debate then they are not just stupid they are idiots!!!

Thanks for posting that.

This is shameful but that means nothing for people who have no shame. For them, it is about their side winning. I only wish we had a few more in the GOP who thought the same way and especially those in "leadership".

FNS

Panel

G Will discusses that it is too early to consider whether recent events have hurt Christie. Will continues that there are 30 Republican governors and ‘state level’ Republicans seem to know how to reach the public. Those governors represent some 315 Electoral Votes.

Then Will gives in a short list of potential probables: Pence, Scott, and one other name I don’t remember.

==

If the Republicans intend to win, they definitely need to get away from the Beltway Mindset. They also need to get away from the retreads — a list which is already growing.

The shortened GOP primary season is going to make it nearly impossible for any late comers to raise money. It is going to be difficult enough for many wannabes to raise money, anyway. As Brit Hume commented, we won’t see a stage of a new frontrunner every few weeks from a half-a-dozen contenders. That would mean the GOP needs some solid contenders from the beginning. Is that even possible? I posted several times during the early 2012 primary debates: Is this the best the GOP can find to represent them?

If the GOP goes with Christie, he will get thuggishly trampled by the MSM and Dems. If the GOP goes with Jeb Bush as the go-to guy, they will face another round of Bush blaming, because the Bush name is still toxic. If it were not, the Dems would have have used it to win the last two presidential elections. If the GOP stays with the beltway mindset, they will probably face another major loss in 2016, regardless of whether the Dems go with Clinton or some youthful, more appealing lesser known — a repeat of 2012.

Thanks for your post Pat.

As I read it, I thought about the current amnesty mess. Seems there are parallels. We have lots of immigration laws on the book but they are not being enforced. It’s a circus.

If the powers that be would enforce what’s already there, we wouldn’t have the mess.

Yes! I also liked it when stretch said something about Ron Paul and Rand didn’t bite and said something to the effect of: don’t talk about my father, I love my dad and he had a lot of support of the people and folks on both sides of the aisle liked him and respected him (perhaps not a great paraphrase, but you get the idea).

Excellent point and parallel! Many of us on FR have been saying they need to enforce the immigration laws before passing more. Obummer decides which laws he wants to enforce and how and using his pen for a DREAM-like Act, etc. (he has a pen AND a phone, you know).

Check me if I’ve got this right:

- 90 million people out of work
- Stock market took a dump last week, and maybe more to come
- ObamaCare enrollment, website and outlook all FUBAR
- DOJ, IRS, NSA, TSA, EPA etc, etc ad nauseum all operating as criminal enterprises

...and all the MSM’s got is THIS line of continuing BS.

They’ve run out of excuses and the only Bright Shiny Things they’ve got left in the bag are yelling “Racist”, this dipsh** line or pitching all-out Class Warfare.

Somebody’s panicking.

A whole lot of ‘em....

No need to worry about potential GOPe machinations for conservatives. Cruz is the only candidate worth supporting.

The rest of the realistic GOP candidates have proven they have no interest in engaging and defeating the Dem agenda. That being the case, I won’t be voting for any of them.

This "War on Women" is really the "War on Minority Women" if you look at the breakdown of how women voted in 2012. The GOP should include the data below in any discussion of the issue.

Women voted for Obama 55% to 44%. White women voted 56% to 42% for Romney. Black women voted 96% to 3% for Obama. Latino women voted 76% to 23% for Obama. All other minority women voted 66% to 31% for Obama.

Married women voted 56% to 42% for Romney. Unmarried women voted 62% to 35% for Obama.

My oldest daughter, who was a Ron Paul supporter, gave me a Rand Paul for prez bumper sticker. She’s getting started early. I have it on my shelf, won’t put it on just yet, if ever. Not that I don’t like him or think he wouldn’t make a great prez. Just too early.

you know F/pat; it really sounds like they're trying to humor you and are going wash their
hands of you and pass their very silly local ordnance, even if your arguments are sound
...it has never been about the noise ordinance; they're petty (tiny-minded) bureaucrats,
they seek power over the citizenry, in every conceivable way...
still i hope your efforts/logic are successful. *smile*

At the end of the day the ONLY war being waged on women is being done by the Democrats.

When you look at how they beat down and slander any successful woman who is NOT a mouth breathing Liberal...then you understand that Dems crying about a war on women is simply projection.

I agree with you. The GOP will lose if we repeat past tendency of nominating Republicans from the left. Neither Christie nor Jeb Bush will excite the GOP base nor attract conservative Libertarians or independents.

Pence is interesting to me. From my memory he was good in congress and now he has executive experience running a state. He does not have the one thing Christie or Bush has, name recognition, but that can be overcome if enough conservatives get behind him or whoever we nominate.

Agreed. My point is that minority women skew the data when it comes to political preferences. When you have black women voting 96% to 3% for Obama, does this reflect a women’s perspective or a black perspective. Obama got the women’s vote, but the percentages are misleading.
