EBT is pervasive.

The entitlement army was the key to victory in 2012 and will be in 2016 (unless the markets have puked on the fake money by then).

The Dems could elect Charles Manson if he promised to keep the entitlements flowing.

Stories like that are pathetic. We know damn well if George W. Bush was presiding over this economic disaster there would be hell to pay and rightly so. This country deserves far better leadership and we’re not getting it from either party. This economic malaise starts and ends in Washington because they’re the ones who are spending us into oblivion and are creating legislation that is hampering productive growth in all sectors of the economy.

I saw this coming — or rather heard this coming — years ago after Obama’s first election when I heard a constant series of radio advertisements making signing up for food stamps akin to joining a gym or joining a book club. All light, healthy and perfectly respectable. Why, everyone’s doing it!

Apparently that is the goal.

"Economists say having a job may no longer be enough for self-sufficiency in today's economy."

The dream of big government fully realized.

Wasn’t the gov’t chastising those independent holdouts for “mountain pride” in refusing to go on the dole?

Those should be fighting words for the American people but since most of us are low information sloths the disintegration of the greatest nation on earth will continue unabated.

With rampant, near-total fornication (sex before marriage) rates, the family structure is basically extinct, setting the perfect stage for welfare moms to dominate the political landscape by sheer numbers, and they will incrementally vote total socialism in.

Ripe environments for Islam to take over, if the former wasn’t scary enough.

So on the one hand the progs want to support welfare mom baby factories to ensure future generations of slave “voters” but at the same time they bang the drum for more and more abortions?

They know that most women who abort end up as welfare moms eventually.

Well, yeah.

They advertise on the radio to come get your EBT card.

Actively recruit people to get free stuff, and you'll get more people signed up to get free stuff.

The gov't is "Sportin' Life" from Porgy and Bess, and welfare is his "happy dust."

Social programs are a problem. And with so many anti-family laws passed over the decades, they’ve destroyed traditional family structure and prevented fresh, new competition from rising.

But the many interests that brought so many regulations against starting small businesses (especially against small manufacturing starts) are to blame, although in politics, they generally blame those on food stamps (e.g., for government teacher raises). Where are the manufacturing jobs?

What about the bureaucrats and their favorite, NIMBY constituents? They’re not doing anything useful. What about their serices (yeah, you). There’s not enough manufacturing on U.S. soil for revenues to sustain. So they do their part to pile up more debt for their fees and salaries while ragging about the descendants of those who once worked hard to support them.

What is conservatism, really? Think about it. Where’s the moral conservatism. Without moral conservatism, there can be no fiscal conservatism (which implies real work—not sitting at a desk and thinking about ways to steal).

The problem here is that there are statists in the picture, too.
They'll use anything they can to grab more power, if this means appealing to moral conservatism to continue an unlawful and, ultimately, liberty-destroying War on Drugs.
They'll appeal to the people who want a strong national defense by hyping up the War on Terror, even though there is no victory condition therein and the terms are being broadened to the point where any dissent can be considered within its purview.
The only thing that we can do to stop this trend is to embrace, at the federal level, a strong libertarian mentality which says That's not government's job for all the stuff that we've been taught is government's job. The only way we can win with moral conservatism is to remove the power usurped by the federal government and concentrate the moral conservative in local/state races. — remember, the federal government was supposed to have specific and limited powers.

As an example, consider marriage. By pushing for a federal/legal definition of marriage, the people are implicitly giving the government the power to define marriage itself — this means that to get homosexual marriage accepted/legitimized all they have to do is change that law, and they've got the time to wait: after all your kids are in their indoctrination-centers… but you can deny them this by putting marriage into the realm of religion: it's a a religious rite not a matter for government to be involved in.

The problem here is that there are communists in the picture. Those who wittingly or unwittingly support communist desires, bring about the degradation of American society and way of life. Free drugs, free sex, free whatever — all support communist goals because they lead to the destruction of American society. The US Constitution and the freedoms the Declaration of Independence says were granted by Our Creator, were never meant to be license to do any and everything imaginable.

Children who whine and stamp their feet shouting they want their freedom when they can’t have their way, have no such understanding. Freedom has become the god of choice to worship. The Creator who granted the freedoms, forgotten or disdained.

To them I say, just say no to nihilism.

God is not dead, nor does He slumber.

God is in the business of fixing people — my part in that is to do justly, to love mercy, to walk humbly with Him and to show others the greatness of my savior by how I live. Communism is irrelevant insofar as that is concerned, as is all other form of corporal governance.

Those who wittingly or unwittingly support communist desires, bring about the degradation of American society and way of life.

No, what is enabling the entire communist desires is a good desire twisted to evil ends, like the good desire for food can be twisted to gluttony, so to is the desire for justice twisted to evil ends. Notice how the Communists are always appealing to this sense of fairness, it is because of misconceptions and indoctrinations that these communistic desires arise. In a just society they would be laughable, but for too long "conservatives" have been unwilling to address it on the basis of justice. It is so obvious, to us, that it is unjust that we take that as an assumed... but they assume the opposite, that it is just, because of their indoctrination and the general suppression of alternate worldviews.
