The new information offers tantalizing clues both to Stockman's whereabouts and purpose as speculation continues to build about his unusual absence in the weeks since launching a quixotic primary challenge to Senator John Cornyn.
Stockman broke his silence on the matter in a text message sent to Breitbart News at 3:26am central time.
“I am on a bipartisan codel. I'm on foreign affairs. Part of my work,” Stockman said, adding that he doesn't know why a Houston Chronicle reporter said “I'm missing” because “we met with the press every day.”
Stockman also said "I am in a meeting now - London."....

This guy is my congressman, and yes he is bat shit crazy. Not the guy to embody our conservative values.
The problem is a guy like this can get elected in a conservative House district but will get shredded by the national MSM and lose a statewide Senate race.

1990— CD Lost GOP primary
1992— CD Unopposed in primary, Lost in the general
1994— CD Won primary, Won general defeating Jack Brooks
1996— CD Lost to democrat Nick Lampson after redistricting special election
1998— Railroad Commissioner, lost primary
2006— CD special election, Insufficient signatures for Indpendent run and lost special election for remainder of term
2012— CD 36th newly created, 2nd in primary, won runoff and won General.

There are 12 candidates now in the primary for CD 36. It should be a
lock for whichever one wins the primary.
Look at the above link to CD 36 and there is a listing.
Lots of country club republicans from all over the country trolling this thread. Corny must be running scared.

You failed to qualify your brash statement - which should have been followed by - 'IMO'. Personally I don't share your ill-informed opinion. IMO, the TP would do well to support Congressman Stockman at every opportunity. I know I will.
