Authorities have called off the search for a Colorado woman who disappeared shortly after returning from a two-year trek around the world, but her husband believes there is still work left to be done.
Leanne Bearden, 33, vanished on January 17 after she left a relative’s home in Garden Ridge, Texas, to go for a walk.

The husband is usually the prime suspect when the wife disappears, and it is possible to drive from CO to TX.
I said, ‘How long are you going to be gone?’ and she said an hour,” her husband, Josh Bearden, told KSAT. “I said, ‘OK babe, take your time.’ That’s the last thing I said to her.”

They had just graduated from college — with college debt maybe??? So then where did they get the money for a two year around the world trip to 56 countries???

CMIIAW but the “relative’s house” they were staying at was his parent’s house there in Texas and the parents were not at home at the time.
Did you read that somewhere else...because I didn’t see that in the short blurb at the site...unless it was updated.
It doesn’t say if the parents were there or not...if they were, then that might be why hubby isn’t considered a suspect.
