On the eve of President Obamas State of the Union Address, a new poll from Washington Post-ABC News shows that fully 63 percent of Americans have either little no confidence Obama will make the right decisions. The public is evenly split on whether Obama is honest and trustworthy, with 49 percent of Americans answering in the affirmative, and 48 percent answering negatively.
A bare majority of Americans, 52 percent, feel Obama does not understand the problems of people like them a shocking downward turn for Obama on an important likeability issue on which he dominated in 2012. A majority of Americans. 51 percent, also believe Obama is not a strong leader. His disapproval rating stands currently at 50 percent, with 41 percent disapproving strongly only 23 percent support him strongly. 50 percent of Americans have an unfavorable impression of the president.
For perhaps the first time, Obamas personal popularity seems to be suffering from his inability to govern effectively. He is not being damaged by the NSA scandal, for example a solid 59 percent of Americans think Obama either went too far or was just right in how he changed NSA policy in the aftermath of surveillance revelations. Instead, his personal popularity is dropping a shocking development for a president who has largely relies on that popularity to push forward policy.
I’d be willing to wager, 75% of Americans would sign a “no confidence form” if we could dump him that way..
It is good that after so many years of mismanagement that people are figuring this out.
The figurehead Current Occupant of the Oval Orifice does not make decisions.
Acting President Valerie Jarrett calls the shots, he only reads what is up on the TelePrompter.
“63% Don’t Have Confidence in Obama to Make Right Decisions”
I have 100% confidence that odumbo could’t order a glass of water without screwing up.
Who the hell are the 37% who do? Low information voters? Low IQ voters? BOTH!
Overheard a young black guy at work today “right now he’s taking everything from us.”
Still horrifically unacceptable.
“Id be willing to wager, 75% of Americans would sign a no confidence form if we could dump him that way..”
Recall that roughly 38% support Obama and see no problems. I know a couple of these people. They see an entirely different reality. It’s different in so many ways I’m sometimes astonished we live in the same world. You have to bear in mind that some of them are very politically active and vote the reality they see.
The rest of them get dragged to the poling place by the party machine. (Their party machine appears to be much better than the GOP.)
Folks are beginning to realize that the Quota Boy is actually quite stupid.
If you want a laugh, imagine a web blog actually written by the dork. Nope, not co-written, no ghost writers...just the actual text thought up (if the dork can actually think) by the imposter-in-chief.
One wonders whether or not he’d have more or less grammatical and logical idiocies as does Baba Stwi-sand.
Most live in my area of PA.
37% of the people are stupid.
Should really be 100%.
The flaw with our constitutional republic is the following. Enemies of our constitutional republic have discovered that all that they have to do to destroy the republic is the following.
Enemies work with the corrupt media to get one of their puppet supporters elected as president. The puppet then uses the popularly perceived, but actually nonexistent powers of the Oval Office to force the country into a nosedive.
Smartest man in the world ,why did they stop telling us that ?
Half the population is below average.
He's sort of like a compass that consistently points south. He's useful, but only if you understand that flaw.
This is still very significant, considering what I know about the leftist mindset.
By leftist worldview definition, those “progressives” that achieve power are assumed to be smarter, more moral, and more capable of making the “right” decision than anyone else that hasn’t achieved a position of power.
So, to have this percentage at a lower number than the number that voted for him is significant.
That number, in a nutshell, is political death.
