Florida Democratic Party donors affiliated with the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) are coming to the aid of Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D., Fla.), who has come under fire in recent weeks over her efforts to quietly block new Iran sanctions measures in the House and Senate.
AIPACs initial letter on the controversy, which circulated two weeks ago, urged Wasserman Schultzs constituents to respectfully ask that she clarify her position on the congressional measures and issue a statement supporting them.
However, on Jan. 24, AIPACs Southeastern states director Mark Kleinman issued a second letter, this one defending Wasserman Schultz.
Some pro-Israel activists in South Florida are not happy about AIPAC reversing course to defend Wasserman Schultz, who continues to stand in opposition to the groups own legislative efforts.
Friends, I wanted to forward a statement issued by AIPAC national board member Ike Fisher after the Huffington Post released an inaccurate article regarding AIPAC and Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Kleinman wrote in the letter sent on AIPAC letterhead, a copy of which was obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.
Thank you and Shabbat Shalom, Kleinman added before attaching a statement from board member Fisher.
Congresswoman Wasserman Schultz has a strong record of support for the U.S.-Israel relationship, read Fishers statement. She is a good friend of Israel and a close friend of AIPAC, and we look forward to our continued work together for many years to come.

AIPAC apparently thinks supporting the Obama regime’s point girl is more important than supporting Israel. Disgusting.
Florida news, Joe.
We have a say in who our congresscritters are. We have no say into who the lobbyists are.
AIPAC can congratulate her again when Iran detonates its first nuke.
Well, Debbie Wash-your-mouth is one of leading lights and intellectual giants of the Donkey party. The pearls of wisdom that proceed from her lips need to be treasured and preserved.
Is she even Jewish?
Did Debbie Wasserman Schultz's parents commit fraud, and conspiracies under RICO? If not, fine, prove it.
When the Jews were freed from bondage in Egypt, many who were not Jews tagged along because they recognized that the new power in the world was the God of Israel.
They were the first to complain about the lack of water. They were the first to challenge the leadership of Moses. They were the ones who ran to make the golden calf.
There are still those "Jews" who run to worship the 'golden calf".
Yes, I see it up front with the kapo Soros.
Leftist Jews care more about killing Jewish babies than saving Israel.
