Poll: Scott Walker leads Democratic challenger
Politico ^ | 27 Jan 2014 | JOSE DELREAL

In his hunt for reelection, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker is leading his Democratic opponent Mary Burke, according to a new poll released Monday. The Marquette Law School poll has the Republican governor ahead 47 to 41 percent among registered voters. The same poll has 54 percent of respondents saying the state is heading in the right direction, compared to 40 percent who say it is not. With the election still nine months away, Burke will have to play catch up to familiarize voters with her stance on issues; 70 percent of respondents say they have not heard enough about her to hold an opinion of her. Walker was first elected to the governor’s mansion in Madison in 2010. He faced a contentious and expensive recall effort in 2012 that captured national attention, and was fueled in large part by anger over sweeping legislation he signed curbing the collective bargaining powers of public unions in the state. Walker won that election against Democratic rival Tom Barrett with 53 percent of the vote to Barrett’s 46 percent. The poll of 802 registered voters was conducted Jan. 20 to Jan. 23 and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points.

As of now he’s my top choice for 2016 POTUS. I'm undecided at this point, but Walker is looking to an excellent choice. He may not be as ideologically "pure" as some may want but he has the benefit of being solidly within the Conservative mainstream

That's been my feeling for a while now. He's focused, reasonably conservative, and he doesn't back down from his goals. He seems to be able to unite people. A very good friend of mine lives in Wisconsin and she said the the Democrats pay college students to travel from precinct to precinct to vote multiple times and without voter ID, they get away with it. Voter ID needs to be the law of the land.

“...PENALTIES for VOTER FRAUD, VOTER INTIMIDATION and BALLOT TAMPERING/MANIPULATION shoule be so steep and severe...”

I agree with you entirely.

But who will enforce it? Holder? State Attorney Generals, who are being bought and elected by Soros and Bloomberg money?

We have psychotic radicals running the show.

Then it is OUR Duty and Responsibility to see that people like Obama, Holder and so on are never again allowed to be in any position of power.

“...Then it is OUR Duty...”

Again, I agree... but it still goes back to the fact that when one side is clearly frauding the election results, and the law enforcement apparatus is controlled by those who are frauding the results, and the opposition party is wetting their panties over even the mere THOUGHT of fighting back...

Where do you go from there? Other than outright 1775 Lexington time...

Friend, I have no answers for it... other than the obvious.

I totally agree.

Sooner or later We The People will be faced with a decision.

Do we die under tyranny or do we live FREE?

I know what my choice is.

I’m constantly surprised - and buoyed -by how many people have expressed that sentiment. Not on FR, but in everyday conversation.

People are pissed.

Yep. I’m truly amazed that our “elected reps” haven’t figured that out, yet. If they had a clue, they would have already started hearings on the Articles of Impeachment rather than risk getting tossed out of office. I know for a fact that I’m not alone in telling them that they are derelict in their sworn duty to preserve and protect the Constitution and that they are going to pay a price for that.

“....telling them that they are derelict in their sworn duty to preserve and protect the Constitution...”

The problem is, they don’t care. They get into the taxpayer-financed-for-life” pipeline, they get comfortable, and they just don’t give a sh*t about it.

They have no understanding of Honor, because they HAVE no Honor.

They have no understanding of loyalty to an oath, because their only loyalty is to their selves - and in the Democrat case, to their commie party mentality.

In an age where honor is the exception rather than the rule, this is what we get.

And they’ll push until they’re MADE to stop pushing.

Look for the Dems to pour massive $$$$ into Wisconsin to derail the Walker Express.

And look for the Dems to embellish, exaggerate and invent any possible negatives-——they KNOW the journ-o-lists will lap it up uncritically.

"As of now he’s my top choice for 2016 POTUS."

Assuming he gets re-elected and doesn't get shot by an Occupier, I'm with you.

In the past, the combined Farm-Labor Party and the Communist Party held a significant sway over state/Democratic politics, and elected a lot of reds and pinks to local, state and national offices.

While these older leftists have basically died off, their “red diaper baby” offspring are still out there. Where do you think the labor thugs came from, “Babies R US”?

Madison, Wisconsin, the Moscow of the Midwest/No. Central US. The old (Madison) Capitol Times - often written by covert Communist Party members (Richard Greenleaf) - the “Pravda” of Wisconsin.

The state was “RED” long before it became Blue.

To #23 Tanknetter.

Forget “pure”. In Wisconsin, SANE would be good.

The same poll methods are being used to declare that 51% of the American population supports Obamacare.
