On January 27th Florida state representative Dan Eagle (R-Cape Coral) put forward a bill to prevent any "agent of the state or its political subdivisions [from participating] with or [assisting] federal agents in the enforcement of federal firearms laws."
According to the Tenth Amendment Center, the bill also bars the state from "[providing] material support of any kind to federal agents in the enforcement of these laws."
Eagle explained the bill thus:

All of our republican governors and republican controlled state legislatures need to enact similar laws.
I agree. The sooner the better!
Good start. Next step would be stop just standing by idly while the feds violate their citizens’ rights. IOW, interposition, or actual affirmative defense (both legal and physical) of state citizens from the enforcement of federal laws found by the state to be in violation of the Constitution.
Do they know something we don’t? I wonder if there’s something in the pipe in DC.
they better do it before Christ gets in there.
Florida needs to stop sending CCW info to states that like Maryland who just use this data to pull over and harass innocent drivers who pass through their state.
And from another Florida Freeper, some info:

This bill is vital in light of the renewed attack on Stand Your Ground laws, following the Trayvon Martin shooting by the Obama Justice Department.
Thats what GA needs to do. Actually we need to kick all these Feds out of the state and back up to DC where they belong.
By legislating the Federal government out of their lives..
Forget about Congress or the SOTUS...both are a lost cause
I think you Crist...
But hey, Jesus Christ as Governor would be awesome...
BTW, almost every liberal I know will not be voting for Charlie Crist, and will pull the lever for Scott, with their noses pinched...
Even liberals knows Crist is a fraud...
I did. Thanks for the correction.
I don't think so. To start with, turning water into wine without a license has to be against the law. And multiplying loaves and fish would get Publix and Winn-Dixie on his case.
Just "sporting" with you : ^ )

Don’t forget the ‘Possum Police (game departments, NOAA(fish regulations in salt water), IRS( can’t allow any poaching in the money preserve), etc.
I received an NRA email alert that makes it sound like this bill would do more harm than good because some Federal Laws actually benefit us.
