Guns Don't Kill People, Democrats Kill People
American Thinker ^ | 1/28/2014 | David Waciski

Headlines that blame a "gun culture" for the high rate of firearm- related homicides in the United States are not too difficult to locate (e.g., here, here, and here). The need to eliminate this "gun culture" is then used as justification for restriction of 2nd Amendment rights. What goes unmentioned about the so-called "gun culture" is its pervasiveness, or lack thereof, throughout our society as a whole. Even a casual reader of local news headlines should not be shocked to learn that firearm-related homicides are more prevalent in some neighborhoods than others. However, what may be shocking is the near exclusivity of firearm-related homicides to a small subset of neighborhoods; neighborhoods that vote predominately for Democrat candidates.

(snip for the analysis of the data...the conclusion:)

The mapping of firearm homicide to voting precinct provides strong evidence that the United States does not have a systemic "gun culture" problem. The majority of firearm homicides in Louisiana, Virginia, and Minnesota occurred in the small fraction of precincts that contains concentrated Democrat voters. If one's goal is to reduce firearm homicides, then does it make more sense to spend time, money, and political capital to restrict everyone's Constitutional rights when the majority of the problem is restricted to a small subset of the population? A more effective approach would address the root causes of the culture of violence that appears to exist in these localized areas. Politicians that propose sweeping restrictions to Constitutional rights as a solution to the localized firearm violence problem are either ignorant of the facts, want to be seen as doing something, are callous about restricting Constitutional rights, or have other nefarious motives.

I will say that the Democrats put people in the position where they lose their cultural survival skills that are needed to be passed to the next generation. It is these learned survival skills that are necessary for the next generation to reproduce successful offspring through the generations. In the long run, it becomes a genetic culling of the herd by making a family lineage unfit to survive.

Interesting how Libtards advise us to NOT judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few
lunatics ... but Libtards demand that we judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics.

A function of “urban” vs. “rural”.
Large population = democrat = crime.

“Moms” Try to Get Staples Manager to Make Staples “Gun Free” – Turns Out, She’s a Carrier

Moms Demand Action…oh, wait, didn’t they merge with Mayor’s Against Illegal Guns? So what are they now? Moms Demand Illegal Mayors?

Anyway, Moms Demand Action’s Nashville, TN chapter, which, based on photos, seems to be three women, visited their local Staples to try and get the company policy changed to forbid guns in their stores.

They approached the store manager with the request, which was quickly shot down. According to a posting on the group’s Facebook page, the manager said she carries a gun at all times.

Ouch. Talk about egg on your face.

“Politicians that propose sweeping restrictions to Constitutional rights as a solution to the localized firearm violence problem are either ignorant of the facts, want to be seen as doing something, are callous about restricting Constitutional rights, or have other nefarious motives.”

I pick two of these; they have nefarious motives and want to be seen as doing something. Appearances are everything to the modern “liberal”. So, two birds with one stone, they appear to be concerned for the people as they are totally screwing them over.

but Libtards demand that we judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few (mostly liberal) lunatics.

There was a post a month or so ago documenting the political stance of that same Slate list of shooters, as well as initial media reporting. Surprisingly heavily slanted Well, not the media coverage - that’s expected.

When there is a bombing, the bombers are blamed. When there is a shooting, guns are blamed. No agenda there?

There is an inconvenient demographic and political component to criminal gun use in the US.
