GOP’s worrisome waltz with amnesty
Tampa Tribune ^ | 1/27/14 | Tom Jackson

You don’t have to be an opponent of immigration reform to know that how the Republican leadership of the U.S. House of Representatives intends to go about it is at best devious and cynical and at worst a prescription for kicking away a golden opportunity in the 2014 midterm elections.

The bosses of the GOP-bossed House intend to lay out a collection of principles at a retreat for the Republican caucus later this week, a prelude to introducing legislation as a more-or-less answer to the Gang of Eight bill that passed the U.S. Senate last year.

The first question is a tactical one: Why? Why do this now, with Democrats scrambling uphill against President Obama’s bad job-performance numbers; problems with the Affordable Care Act rollout (bulletin: it’s not just the web site that’s catastrophic); an economy struggling against regulation and uncertainty; and only three percent of Americans listing immigration reform as a top priority?

Instead of following Napoleon’s sage advice — when your opponent is self-destructing, stay out of his way — Republicans under Speaker John Boehner appear determined to wade into a swamp where no friendly creatures reside.

The second question is motivational: All to satisfy whom? The U.S. Chamber of Commerce? The editorial board of the Wall Street Journal? Their friends in the Senate, where two years of House-passed bills to boost the economy have gone to die?

Excellent advise but I doubt the boobs in the GOPe are listening.

This issue is the Rubicon for me. If the GOP crosses it my 35 year association with them immediately ends.

Why the GOP created long build up and suspense over a list of ‘principles’ that they claim doesn’t exist yet?

To get MSM to report that the ball is moving?

They don’t even know what these are yet?

Republican leaders in the House of Representatives, mindful of the changing face of the U.S. electorate, are expected to introduce their own guidelines this week for legalizing millions of undocumented immigrants. And that’s reigniting another identity crisis over the future of the GOP.

GIMME THAT AGAIN? ...... pols are responding to "the changing face of the U.S. electorate"..... Let's examine that canard in more detail.

INCONVENIENT FACTOID Tightly organized Third World pressure groups---all using the same script---are pushing north at a furious pace---grabbing tax dollars every which way they can in order to subsidize a separate Third World nation on US soil...subject only to their absurd laws and customs. The invading occupiers avidly labor to undermine US ntl security---and are getting a lot of help from Capitol Hill.

THE BIG LIE AND THE INCONVENIENT FACTOID Relentless Third World agit prop portrays invaders as an accomplished bunch who are escaping to the US "for a better life" from fetid Third World hellholes and cesspools.

(a) The Senate amnesty bill hands blood-thirsty La Raza $100 million PER YEAR to conduct its hate-filled agenda.

(b) The Senate bill also absolves from prosecution all latinos holding US govt positions. (Free-for-all graft but only if you're latino.)

==============================================

Struggling US taxpayers are being swindled by greedy violent Dreamers----lying in wait to get their hands on more and more US tax dollars. Crimes committed non-stop include:

<><> registering to vote under several identities,

<><> involved in voter fraud,

<><> using multiple identities to swindle the US govt,

<><> rap sheets here. In Mexico. Elsewhere.

<><> receiving welfare, food stamps, SSI, free medical care, Section 8 housing, UI, Workmen's comp under several identities?

<><> falsifying US govt documents to unlawfully receive, monthly SS checks, claiming "asylum?" <><> sub-prime mortgage obtained w/ the help of US govt agencies?

<><> making false claims on IRS forms in order to get EITC refunds,

<><> faked driver's license

<><> faked passports

<><> wire-transferring money back to The Third World,

<><> registered to vote under several identities,

<><> membership in to radical America-hating organizations preaching violence against America and Americans.

<><><> using multiple identities to get tax dollars,

<><> swindling the US govt,

<><> OBTAINING FRAUDULENT SUB-PRIME MORTGAGES? MORTGAGES THAT DEVSTATED THE US ECONOMY? THAT US TAXPAYERS WERE FORCED TO BAILOUT?

<><> riding the lucrative US gravy train:

UI, SSI, Workmen's Comp,

TANF (temporary assistance to needy families),

WICS (food assistance),

subsidized Section 8 shelter,

ObamaPhone subsidies,

Utility Assistance subsidies,

$5000 a year EITC checks per identity,

hefty monthly "asylum" checks from SS ....

cashing multiple govt checks,

forming pressure groups lying in wait for foreign aid,

<><> hidden history of criminal wrongdoing,

<><> committing felonies against the US govt,

<><> falsifying official documents to pocket US govt checks,

hiding large amounts of assets from the courts,

collecting govt checks under several identities,

bundles of US cash wired offshore,

stiffing US banks for fraudulent sub-prime mtges (forcing taxpayer bailouts).

THE REPUBLICAN PATH TO CITIZENSHIP--FOR ALL INTENTS AND PURPOSES----Meet the new Democrat voters.

Quoting Miguel Perez of Cal State-Northridge’s MEChA chapter: “The ultimate MECha ideology is the liberation of Aztlan (taking back the SW). Communism would be closest [to it]. Once Aztlan is established, ethnic cleansing (of Americans) would commence: Non-Chicanos (Americans) would have to be expelled — opposition groups (that's us) would be quashed because latinos have to keep power.”

Stop importing people.

Bring back US jobs.

We are doing this exactly backwards.

It just amazes me that these folks seem to have such a hard time figuring out who their constituency is.

Then again, when someone’s actions make no sense, it may be that they are motivated by factors of which I am not aware - Like the time my ex tried to start a physical altercation with me just a few days before she served me divorce papers.

Makes you wonder what is really going on here...

It is almost as if the GOP leadership is trying to throw the November election ... food for thought.

Why? Because they are RINOs more interested in getting a bit of good press from the NYT than protecting the country from a foreign invasion.

The constituents are so uninformed that these Republican “leaders” can be closeted Democrats and still prevail.

There is a large group of voters that the Repub leadership could get if they would only reach out to them - the base.
