This posting is not about Wendy Davis. It is not about her views. This is about a man who has pattern of being disrespectful to women:
We are a big nation with different viewpoints. We wont always agree but a strong debate is helpful when we disagree. Sometimes if you are smart in your debate, you persuade someone who otherwise had disagreed with you.
And then there are the creeps who take cheap shots because they are too ignorant and small to engage in an important discussion. The best they can do is make themselves look really bad. No one should pay any attention to them they are not persuasive, they are noise, and in some instances boorish and obnoxious. I suspect this guy feels that he makes himself relevant or even important if he says or tweets like this. I just roll my eyes and wonder what is going on in his head!

Maybe he sees Davis as the total fraud and self-aggrandizing hack that she is, Greta, while you have your "everything for the gender, nothing against the gender, nothing outside the gender" glasses on.
I think Greta calling him disrespectful to women for slamming Wendy Davis is like democrats calling Ted Cruz a racist because he doesn’t like Obamacare.
You make a good point.
I have liked Greta but she is off on this. She should look at the “classy” crowds in the Texas capitol building cheering Wendy during her filibuster. Disturbing. For the sake of killing babies. Wendy and her crowd are the ones insulting women and every living person with her facade of women’s rights and pretty package. If she is proud of her life why lie? Another facade. Greta disappoints me on this one. Watched a bit of her panel last night and the Time guy was oh so clueless and the others not much better.
Erick Erickson hosts a local radio show on WSB Radio. I think he learned his somewhat “rude” and “sensational” ways from WSB’s Neil Boortz. Neither of these guys are personally rude and boorish..... they just sometimes seem to appear that way for the shock sensation of it. For some reason they think that is good for ratings. Maybe it is, maybe it isn’t. Personally, although I loved and respected Neil Boortz as a person, I had to quit listening to his show because his attitude on air just rubbed me the wrong way.
At least Erick Erickson is a fighter, unlike the tame geldings who are “leading” the GOPe during Obama’s constitutional coup.
Greta is getting her butt handed to her in the comments. :-)
Overall, I think Greta ‘fouled out’ with this one. Doesn’t appear that comments overall are supporting her position, either.
Whatever Erickson said about Wendy Davis pales in comparison to the vile hatred The Left spews about Sarah Palin even on their best days.
Ummmm.....”Abortion Barbie” is really, really bad?
I’m actually pretty disappointed with Greta. She thinks calling Wendy Davis “Abortion Barbie” is being really disrespectful to all women? How so? That doesn’t even come close to passing the common sense test.
Wendy Davis is pro abortion. That is beyond argument. So “Abortion” is a proper word to be used in describing her. Barbie is a doll. The Barbie dolls I have seen have been blonde. Wendy Davis is blonde. Well, she dyes her hair blonde. How is calling Wendy Davis “Abortion Barbie” anything other than an apt description of her?
I was watching C-Span when Whoopi Goldberg got up and called the first President Bush the “F” word. As a matter of fact, she called him that several times. I didn’t see anyone writing columns saying Whoopi had insulted all men. It’s part of national politics.
Greta, by doing this, has made Wendy Davis, and herself, look weak and petulant. What a shame.
The first Bush would be elated if he could change Whoppi’s mind. He probably sees her in the category “Potentially winnable”.
Comments are running about 40 to 1 against Greta’s incredible defense of the indefensible Wendy Davis.
But Caribou Barbie was OK for Sarah Palin...and it backfired. Most folks got a smile or a chuckle from it!
