IMO these chains all suffer from the same problem.

They hire twenty-something young skulls o’ mush straight out of Liberal colleges to work in their marketing departments. Where they immediately set about convincing their bosses that all the faulty notions consumed in all the lefty kool aid they drank represents a clear and present danger to the business.

McDonald’s is a really bad example: their crappy fast food burgers are even worse tasting than their “healthy” stuff.

Madison avenue is in NYC. NYC is stuck of the stupid left worldview. They do not have the intelectual capacity to just plain think.

Obamas are toxic.

your product is associated with the Obamas

your product is toxic.

It’s true that both McDs & Burger King now have awful food. They were terrific years ago.

I thought it was the Health Nazis who got rid of the beef tallow. Those old fries were to die for.

Look at In and Out Burger to see a business model that works. Simple, straight forward, limited menu.

If you want tofu, egg whites, blah blah blah then go there.

Harry: McDonnells! [Sounds like McDonald's]

Jon: Hungry, Pop?

Harry: Um, yeah.

That about sums up the place for me...I miss Arctic Circle's Bacon Bounty Cheeseburger. A local bar is as close as I can get. The best 'sin food' seems to be bars these days; 'Happy Hour' menu & what-not.

I'm NOT that old and ALL food was "better" just 30 years ago.

From Taco Bell using lard in their refried beans, to frying their shells in coconut oil, to McDonald's using beef tallow for french fries, to cereals like Frankenberry and King Vitaman made with whole-fats and full sugar.

Other mentions: Oreo cookies. Like all cold cereal, they had to sit in milk for JUST the right amount of time before the were softened enough to be "perfect".

Thanks to pu$$yfied liberals, such "terrible food" is not available. At any price.

What I wouldn't give to have a 1983 style Taco Bellgrande in all of its crispy, non limp in 30 seconds glory.

McDonalds need to get itself declared TBTF so they will be eligible for a government bailout.

Then it need a fast food affordability act so people will be forced to buy its food. LOL
