A number of motorists who had to abandon their vehicles in the snow on Highway 280 outside of Birmingham, Ala. were able to find shelter in the storm thanks to the kindness and generosity of Chick-fil-A restaurant employees and the restaurant's owner, Mark Meadows.
Once the snow started accumulating, Meadows closed the restaurant and sent his staff home. But a few hours later, many of them returned – unable to get to their homes.
“Our store is about a mile and a half from the interstate and it took me two hours to get there,” manager Audrey Pitt said. “It was a parking lot as far as I could see.”
So Pitt left her car on the side of the interstate and joined a flock of bundled up drivers trudging through the snow.

Chick-fil-A certainly is unbelievable, and that is because of the Cathy family. They know that their business has been blessed for one single purpose, which is to glorify God. The Cathys are a major target of those who hate their Creator, so we should pray for them - and pray especially that the third generation will remain faithful to Truett's and his children's vision and stewardship of Chick-fil-A.
It was so cold here in MN on Sunday that they never opened...

Kudos to Chick Fil A for helping their community during the storm.
That is why even though I prefer another chain's chicken sandwich, I patronize Chick-fil-A every chance I get.

Can I make an observation?
We remember how the liberals squauked and created a meltdown uproar over homosexual marriage and the owners of Chick Fil A. My observation is that Chick Fil A has NOT been sued over allegations of discrimination against the LGBT peoples.
You know that at the time of the liberal uproar, that they were searching far and wide to find someone, anyone, who had been discriminated against by Chick Fil A. Yet they never found anyone who could claim discrimination.
Did anyone else ever notice that little fact? Chick Fil A complies with all laws regarding employment and public accomodation.
Idiots like that snarky Adam Smith, who made that confrontational you tube video, and claimed that the company had horrible values, were proven wrong. The liberals would never admit this, but it’s plain as day to the rest of us how wrong the liberals are, by their own criteria.
A company that puts people above profit. Something that should have been applauded at last night’s Washington Borefest.
