Pelosi: Dems will insist on citizenship

January 29, 2014, 04:00 pm Pelosi: Dems will insist on citizenship

By Mike Lillis House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Wednesday amplified the Democrats' insistence that an immigration reform package include a pathway to citizenship for the nation's illegal immigrants.

Some GOP leaders have embraced the notion of providing legal status to those residents, but Pelosi said such a strategy doesn't go far enough for House Democrats.

"In our caucus, there has to be a path to citizenship," she told reporters in the Capitol. "To talk about legalization is to say that America is not the country we think we are.

"They wouldn't even be second-class citizens, because they wouldn't be citizens. They'd be second-class residents of our country. I just can't subscribe to that, and that's not where our caucus is."

The comments arrived the same day Republicans left Washington for an issues conference in Maryland, where they'll unveil much-anticipated immigration reform principles to a conference that's sharply split on the issue.

GOP leaders appear eager to move legislation, if only to take away a stark political advantage enjoyed by Democrats when it comes to the Hispanic vote. But they face intense pressure from conservatives to oppose anything other than the deportation of those living in the country illegally.

Indeed, Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) warned Tuesday a push for legalization by GOP leaders would play right into the hand of Democrats, who want citizenship.

"If we decide we're going to bring legalization status but no path to citizenship … immediately the clamor starts for full citizenship from Democrats. Immediately, they try to polarize people on the basis of race and ethnicity and national origin," King said. "Politically it would be a huge mistake. You could never start down the path to legalization without citizenship and stop there."

Pelosi, for her part, characterized the GOP principles as "a good faith effort to find common ground."

"We look forward to seeing what they are," she said. "I'm assured by the Speaker that they will be good and … acceptable to all of us, and I hope that is the case."

Republicans giving anything to invaders except a one-way (for good) ticket home could easily cost them an HOR majority after November. The RINO ptb are spending too much time cozying up with the Chamber of Commerce to even have a clue about how strongly constitutional conservatives feel about this issue.

The ONLY chance we have of saving the US is getting the invaders out of the US, and keeping them and other unnecessary foreign labor out of the US.

What the Democrats won’t get in legislation will be instituted by Obama via non-enforcement of provisions they don’t like. What isn’t achieved by THAT will be forced upon America by cherry picked federal judges.

This is why Republicans ought to avoid any immigration laws other than requiring the executive branch to ENFORCE EXISTING ONES!

Pigosi would accept no path to citizenship as long as they got the right to vote.

That's all it's about anyway.

Or alternatively, I think Mark Levin is correct that the courts will never allow such a two-tiered system to exist, and will grant them all citizenship ex-post facto.

Even if they pass an amnesty bill that does not grant citizenship to the illegals 0bama’s judges will declare them to be citizens in time for the next election.

And that's what "immigration reform" is really all about. Giving citizenship to 30 million undocumented Democrats.

And this is what all Tea Party people understood from the get go. Why Bohner, Cantor, Prebuis, Ryan, et. al. don't address this is mind numbingly shocking.

The only way Nanzi would be happy was if they were all
maded Honorary Democrats and given EBT/pasports.

Class warfare, is all she’s got?
No nanzi they aren’t second class citizens.
They aren’t CITIZENS at ALL.

FACTS ON FILE---The Senate Immigration "Reform" Bill
Protects corrupt Latino Public Officials from US laws and from prosecution.

Vote-crazed Dems' amnesty law absolves elected/appointed latinos holding US public office from prosecution for wrongdoing---for crimes like government fraud, graft, bribery, selling votes for cash....(the usual politician crimes).

There really is a Ntl Assoc of Latino Elected and Appt Officials organized for govt fraud.

NANCY SUCKS UP at Ntl Assoc of Latino Elected and Appt Officials Gala in DC
L-R--Sen. Robert Menendez (D-NJ);
Dr Salomon Melgen (under scrutiny for corrupt deals w/ Sen Menendez);
Rep Nancy Pelosi (Dimwit-CAL); Francisco

Emilio Sanchez, Pres/CEO of VOXXI

=================================

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC STRANGLEHOLD ON US POLITICS ---the DR is a Caribbean nation notorious for corrupt governments. US politicians' frequent the DR "amenities" at its posh resorts; rock stars and celebrities relax at luxe villas spending big bucks there.

NJ Sen Menendez and Floridian eye surgeon Dr Melgen (a DR native) are under scrutiny for shady deals worth billions. Menendez intervened in inquiries WRT Melgen's shady billing of Medicare.

===================================================

Recent travel brochures report that the DR has no safety net or state-sponsored job creation for its largely impoverished citizenry.

THIRD WORLD MONEY LAUNDERING IN AMERICA The one million Dominican citizens currently living illegally in the US send home about a billion US dollars annually---which is considered by the corrupt do-nothing DR govt to be a major source of state revenue. A steady exodus leaves for US shores lured by the endless US gravy train. Money laundering is rampant in the form of Dominican here on food stamps/welfare. etc, laundering EBT cards through corrupt grocers--- where cash is handed out from EBT cards, then sent to the DR.

THE MODUS OPERANDI (1) using multiple identities, and, (2) falsifying official Govt documents. The scam consists of getting US food stamps (which they apparently do not need), using EBT cards, and shipping EBT food to the Third World---not to feed the hungry--- the food taxpayers are subsidizing is sold in the DR for profit.

===============================================

NY POST EXCLUSIVE REPORT New York food stamp recipients ship welfare-funded groceries to Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Haiti....and so on. Tax-subsidized food stamps are paying to buy and ship food to Jamaica, Haiti and the Dominican Republic....where the food is sold for profit.

A spokeswoman for the US Dept of Agriculture’s Food and Nutrition Service said the $86 BILLION welfare program is reserved for poor US households that buy and prepare food. "States should intervene if people are caught shipping non- perishables abroad", she said.

A senior fellow at the Cato Institute called it another example of welfare abuse. “The purpose of this program is to help Americans who don’t have enough to eat. This is not intended as a form of foreign aid.” As an example, US taxpayers spent $522.7 million on foreign aid to the Caribbean last fiscal year, govt data show.

HERE'S HOW The "needy connivers" buy barrels available in supermarkets in latino enclaves---then ship them filled with $500 to $2,000 worth of EBT-paid groceries to Third World---where the groceries are sold for cash.

=========================================

PEW REPORT The US is the most important source of remittances to Latin America, accounting for 3/4's of last year's $52.9 billion total. -- wire transfers of US tax dollars accounted for the highest percentage of GDP in El Salvador (16.5%), Honduras (15.7%) and Guatemala 10%).-- The US is No. 1 nation from which illegals' wire transfers originate, sending $123.3 billion abroad in 2012.

INCONVENIENT FACTOID Amazing how much discretionary income low-wage illegals send back home....illegals barely eking out an existence on sub-minimum wages, in jobs like lawn-mowing and hamburger flipping have money to burn.

INCONVENIENT FACTOID A latino woman residing in California, who spoke not a word of English, had a $100,000 nest egg and lived in a paid-up $100,000 home. She was on TV b/c she lost the nest egg to a father/son con game. The conmen were also latinos who got filthy rich preying on non-English speaking latinos, supposedly in low-paying jobs, who had thousands of dollars to invest.

No doubt the rats also have compliant federal judges lined-up to declare as lawful whatever Pelosi and her pals desire.

Well hell. What they should ask for in the bill is the removal of all elections from now on. Obama gets to appoint all Congressmen and Senators. Plus, they can demand that Obama can stay President until he wants to leave office.

I mean, that's only fair, right?

Let’s revoke Pelosi’s citizenship.

She has shallow roots in this country. If we had known what she was going to do, would we have let her grandparents in?

Clearly her loyalty is not to the Americans. Time for her to move back to Italy where her true allegiances are.

She can visit Spain, it’s really close. Talk Spanish all she wants.

The correct GOP response to Pelosi:
“You have no power here! Begone, before somebody drops a house on you, too!”

They'd be second-class residents of our country.

Hey, DINGBAT Pelosi, we already have those, why not have more? Immigrants who come to America, but only to work, temporarily, with the full intent to return to their home country when their permanent residence fails or they make enough money, or whatever.

These people do not WANT to be Americans, they want to turn America into the hellholes from which they came. The answer to that is to force these people to come through the front door, assimilate and move-on. Otherwise, go home! PERIOD!

The Chamber of Commerce has lots of money. We have lots of votes.

We will find out really soon which the GOP-e values more.

Unfortunately, I think we already know the answer...
