Deport illegal aliens on contact with LE.
Enforce the law vigorously on employers of illegals.
Strong border security. Build the physical fence and use high-tech surveillance.
Eliminate entitlements for illegal aliens except for true emergency care.
End the “anchor baby” policy.
Do those things and illegal aliens will deport themselves and pay for the trip.
Certainly. I just figured that was a “refer to #1” type thing.

Coulter, Kristol, and the editors of the National Review all agree it’s a bad idea. I would call that unanimity across the right side of the political spectrum.
Bill Kristol and his famous father were stupidly open borders for years. It takes the Republicans always losing in California and elsewhere to see the fruits of his stupidity, to make him change his mind. I have been for immigration restriction and real border enforcement since 1990 and briefly exchanged words with Irvirg Kristol on this in 1991 or so
I agree and Bill Kristol is famously almost always wrong about everything, but on this he’s right. Broken clock syndrome I guess.
