Tyler Doohan, the 8-year-old upstate New York boy who rescued six relatives from a fire but died while trying to save his grandfather, will be laid to rest Wednesday with a ceremony and honor befitting a fallen firefighter, according to local fire officials.

That boy is a hero.
His parental units apparently did something right in his upbringing.
No, his mom’s a doper and his dad was no where near the trailer when it went up. He was apparently being cared for by extended family.
Hence the use of "units".
Wow! That’s a lot of courage in an eight year old.
This is so sad...
Poor little boy...
Wonder how long it will be before a minority group trashes the media for posting the boy’s picture, depicting a White in a heroes role.
What a great kid. Rips your heart out to realize he didn’t make it. Very sad.
In spite of circumstances, there still be heroes born among us. A heroic feat among certain subcultures.
