Obama, Biden, FLOTUS’ luxury personal vacation costs exposed by Judicial Watch

After nearly a year of stalling by the Obama administration, Judicial Watch has obtained the vacation travel records for the Obamas’ and Vice President Joe Biden’s 2013 President’s Day weekend excursions and Michelle Obama’s 2011 South African trip.

President Obama spent President’s Day weekend, Feb. 15-18, golfing in West Palm Beach, Fla., while the first lady and the girls enjoyed a ski trip to Aspen, Colorado, as did Biden.

Taxpayers picked up a tab which totaled $295,437.04 for the personal vacations, according to U.S. Secret Service records from the Department of Homeland Security obtained by Judicial Watch.A Freedom of Information Act lawsuit filed by Judicial Watch June 21, 2013, against the U.S. Secret Service found this in the billing records:

* Transportation and lodging costs for the president’s trip totaled $98,135.79. This includes $32,406.50 for the flights, $16,466.25 for rental cars, and $48,490 for hotel rooms.

* The vacation costs for first lady Michelle Obama totaled $81,523.64, including $13,221.30 in flights, $3,925 in rental cars, and $64,377.34 in lodging.

* The expenses for Vice President Biden’s weekend in Aspen totaled $115,777.61, including $5,315 in flights, $92,596 in accommodations, and $17,866.61 in rental cars.

The second group of documents obtained by Judicial Watch indicate that taxpayers paid more than $1,000,000 for Michelle Obama’s 2011 “safari” trip to South Africa and Botswana.

(please see the article for the rest of the tab we picked up)

A retarded Joe Biden becomes Veep. And it costs $93,000 for “accommodations” for a weekend. The day that man got elected to office was the day this country started it’s death spiral.

What are the law(s) regarding this? I see the couple in Virginia was just Indicted for accepting gifts. I would consider a $1Million dollar vacation is a gift. No taxes paid on this either. IIRC the Clintons had this problem also until they made up fake gift vouchers as required by law.

George Bush usually took his vacations at his Texas ranch, so we didn’t have to pay for a fancy hotel - he liked his home and riding around his ranch. Hussein wouldn’t know a ranch if he saw one. He would think a gopher hole was part of a new type of golf course. Hussein has no redeeming value.

Taxpayers picked up a tab of $295k? I call BS. The real number has to be $295 M. $295k would barely pay for a few nights of their posse, some caviar and lobster, and a few bottle of champagne.

I wonder if any of you have ever flown first class. I did that one time right after my husband died and I was going to London to be with my son and I couldn’t stand the idea of someone jammed next to me in regular class, I wanted my own space at that time, so I flew first class to London.

When you arrive at the airport with a first class ticket, you don’t have to sit with the peons waiting to board. You go to a private room where there are refreshments and other first class people. There I was with the Houston people who had that kind of money. I talked with a pro baseball player as a Houston reporter, every week, was putting my comments about players in a Houston newspaper at that time.

Then, it is onto the plane before the common folk get on. There is a curtain between first class and the common folk so you never have to see them. There was my seat with gobs of room around it and it would lay almost flat like a bed. No one bothered me except the “hostess” to get me whatever I wanted. When we got there, I was rested instead of a basket case as is usual in the “common” area. Off we went first so we again didn’t have to be with the common folk.

There IS a difference when you have mega amounts of money. You ARE in a different class and your life is not like those who don’t have that large amount of money. I didn’t have mega amounts, I just had that one trip there like that and I came home a few weeks later, on a regular ticket.

I have been with the mega rich several times since then, but that was my first introduction to the kind of life they lead. AND IT IS SWELL.

Marxist Capos always think they are special and deserve to be treated like royalty. They would be truly puzzled if you question their extravagant lifestyle. In their mind set this is perfectly normal.

When you are the "Capo Di Tutti Capos," we have the Obamas.

$32,400 for zero’s flights to Florida and back? I read somewhere that AF1 ran ~$170,000 PER HOUR to operate; was that a mistake?

Or did he fly DELTA?

You have a good point..smaller jets easily cost 5 to 10k per.. Just for the flying time...not including crew and fixed costs.

In my work I used to fly every week. I always traveled in jeans and a comfortable shirt. One time I had to be in court so I was wearing a suit and carried a briefcase. Court ran late and I had to wear those clothes on my flight.

Now, no one had ever 'dissed' me before, but this time everyone treated me like SOMEBODY!! After that I always wore my suit and carried my briefcase. A guy needs some place to carry his lunch, after all.

I call BS too. Doesn’t include SS pay, overtime charges, incidentals etc. Probably double what was reported.

Unlike W, 0 has no home to go home to. That place in Chicago, which they seem to have forgotten about, doesn’t have his name on the deed.
