I remember the “Zebra Murders” of the early-mid 1970’s in San Francisco. Racially motivated, Black on White murders.
Then SF Mayor Alioto brought in hundreds of Black men fitting the description for questioning, but the NAACP and the ACLU went to court to have it stopped and it was.
Result: More murders.
Eventually, the police cracked the case when an informant came forward, but not before 16 people were murdered and about 10 people were wounded, including a friend of my younger Brother, a guy named Terry White who was 15 years old at the time he was shot in 1974 but eventually recovered and testified against the shooters/killers.
I was a few years ahead of him in High School and a few years older and he played for the Sophomore football team while I played for the Senior team and we used to scrimmage and practice against each other. A few months later, he would be shot and severely wounded.
Not many people outside of the SF Bay Area heard of or remember these racially motivated murders, but here is a synopsis:

When the first wave of murders and attacks occurred, I was listening on my Police Band radio one night when there were several shootings. That was before the SFPD switched to a different police band that I don’t think was available to the public, but that one night there were about 5 shootings throughout SF and the Police Dispatcher and Police Band was just going crazy and it seemed like there was a shooting every 10 minutes for an hour or so in all different parts of the city.
Heck, it’s not necessary to include a racial description. We can already make that assumption.
Be on the lookout for a person who raped a woman—probably a male.
Funny, they love being identified as blacks if there is something for them to gain such as a spot at a top university or lots of free money.
The true purpose is to try to keep the sheep unaware of just how much of the crime problem comes from one specific group.
If the sheep become aware, it might lessen their sympathy for the poor discriminated-against dears...

No information should be given out. No Gender, Race, Height, Weight, Hair Color, How they are dressed, where it happened...because any of this may be used to Profile someone innocent. In fact it would be best if the whole system was scrapped...and the funds given to me.
Well they could do things like “ The suspect was 5’9” 145lbs and very light complexion like the pink in a morning sunrise...”
Or :The suspect was “5’9” 145lbs and very dark complexion like the color of molasses...”
And so on...
