SHOWDOWN: BOEHNER TO REVEAL IMMIGRATION 'PRINCIPLES,' CONSERVATIVES READY TO RUMBLE
Breitbart ^ | 1/29/14 | MATTHEW BOYLE & JONATHAN STRONG

Posted on 01/30/2014 6:55:38 AM PST by jimbo123

This could get ugly.

Thursday at 4:30pm in Cambridge, Maryland, Speaker John Boehner will unveil an outline of the party's immigration stance to rank-and-file members that includes “legal status” for millions of illegal immigrants.

Boehner hand-selected members to help lead the discussion, including California Rep. Jeff Denham, the first Republican to endorse the House Democrats' immigration bill.

But as much as Boehner is dreaming of a big, bipartisan immigration deal – senior GOP officials say they are surprised just how much the Ohio Republican is “leaning in” on the issue – top immigration hawks are themselves ready to raise hell.

“We’re going to have a very heavy discussion on illegal immigration,” Rep. Dana Rohrabacher told Breitbart News, adding that Boehner's critics have organized a plan to “speak as aggressively and loudly and articulately as we can in opposing this nonsense of amnesty for 10-20 million illegals which would cause great harm to the country and destroy the Republican Party.”

The meeting is momentous enough that Senator Jeff Sessions flouted congressional protocol, hand-delivering anti-amnesty talking points to members ahead of the closed-door session.

Boehner has been carefully working on the issue with the help of a new top immigration aide, Rebecca Tallent, who was formerly Senator John McCain's top amnesty lieutenant.

For the last 40 years, the Party of Government (both Pub wing and ‘Rat wing) has done all it can to replace American voters with Mexican voters.

Now it is on the cusp of achieving that goal.

Ya know, I used to think amnesty was a very bad thing-—but I know this for sure—illegals, particularly Mexicans ARE doing the work that a lot of Americans aren’t willing to do-usually for less money than Americans would get for doing the same thing.

They are also paying taxes—probably not state and federal taxes, but they are paying state sales tax just like the rest of us.

There must be a middle of the road solution to this problem, if we could just find it.

btw—I live in Texas.

What if thousands of us switched party affiliaton from R to I?

We should switch from R to D - and try to get conservatives elected in areas where voters have been taught not to think, just to check the D.

Party affiliation has become absolutely meaningless - and D has been successfully propagandized as the Root of All Good. Let's go claim our share. It will take them decades to re-program the MSM and the idiots, and 95% of their hysterical attacks simply evaporate in the face of a candidate who can say "I'm a proud D." :)

Throw that bum, Boehner, out of the Speakership. The Democrat thugs have something on him, as they did Chief Quisling Roberts, and he will sell out the party and the country. Conservatives are not fooled by that fake tan. We know he’s yellow.

Besides the fact that by legalizing these people we are basically saying “Yeah, it’s OK to break the law”, does Boehner realize that he will electorally gut the GOP?

The new citizens will not vote GOP. They are instant Dem voters.

The “middle of the road” solution to this is to enforce existing law. A more aggressive solution (from the right) would be to militarize the southern border and the creation of more immigration enforcement teams to round up and deport illegals on a grand scale. The “middle of the road” solution is to permit them to self deport when they can no longer work under the table, DEPRIVING Americans of jobs.

Those aren’t principles Boehner, they are the pathway to your Crony Capitalists to shove the cost of doing business off onto the backs of the citizens.

Traitorous, low-life, Democrat Collaborator!
