House GOP to Obama: Let's Do a 'Year of Action' Together

CAMBRIDGE, Maryland--House Republicans responding to President Obama's State of the Union vow to move forward on a “year of action” with or without Congress say they agree and want to partner with him.

“We heard the president say this should be a year of action and that is our goal. We join the president in this effort to make this a year of action,” GOP Conference Chair Cathy McMorris Rodgers told reporters here.

The top four House Republicans also sent Obama a letter this morning outlining areas of agreement where the two can collaborate.

The letter notes, “Of course, under our Constitution, most action requires the Congress and the President to work together.”

The letter does not include any language on immigration, though a press conference was consumed with questions from reporters on the topic. Speaker John Boehner continued his silence on forthcoming immigration “principles,” saying he needs to discuss the issue with the Republican conference.

Idiots.

Cooperating with the POTUS to work-around the constitution will not make the media stop thinking of you as racist.

How about doing something really different, GOP, and offer the American people a real alternative to socialism?

I agree, let’s have a “Year of Action” by the US House of Representatives!

Lemme see now, - - - ?

Why not start by naming Four Special Prosecuters for each of the Major Obama Scandals?

The Leftstream Media could their “I had no idea that Obama was so evil!” stories.

And FOX News could say “We told you so!”

Ponder this:

Egypt’s Morsi and our Democrat’s Obama have the same Muslim Brotherhood mentality, and thus both men are opposed to the Common Law basis of American Culture.

The American-based logic system falls on the deaf ears of both men.

Both men have a “Big Picture” mentality of destroying their existing societies in order to establish their version of the Muslim Brotherhood System of governance.

Their responses during and after the 2012 Benghazi Murders were the most revealing insights into their shared Muslim Brotherhood values.

Neither Morsi or Obama can be reasoned with by their countrymen. Their Muslim Brotherhood Mentality prevents them from doing so.

Any opposition to their plans is used by them to strengthen their conviction that their plans are correct.

Egypt has figured all this is out, when will America do the same?

Republicans don’t believe in capitalism as strongly as Dems believe in socialism.

The fix is on. Immigration, Hillary Clinton for President, more Republicans endorsing Democrats running for office - you name it.

GOPe would endorse a democrat for office before they’d endorse a conservative.

Let that sink in for a minute.

.
Will never happen — the LM will try to whitewash everything that is bad and will accuse the GOP of being biased against 0.

I forgot one thing: Correction “- - - Media could TELEVISE their - - - “; and you forgot that Journalists love to make money from their “I knew it all along” books.

Thus, they can claim to be loyal to a fault to the sanctity of the First Obamanation Regime, AND really smart for knowing all about Barry’s Boo-Boos.

The GOP is splitting before our eyes. The kenyan turned up the heat and whipped the GOP leadership.

Progressive Republicans are now siding with Dems on the great issues of our time. Conservatives are losing interest in voting for back stabbing careerist RINOs and will no longer support them.

It’s hard to see the GOP continuing to be viable. There just is no common set of values among conservatives and progressive wing of the GOP.

I know this kind of rhetoric is baffling, but it is not sincere....just as if Obama had said the same thing.

The House GOP puts that noise out KNOWING it is mere PR for the LIVs.

This shouldn’t be a surprise. The GOP has been colluding with the Dems regarding the IRS assault on conservatives, busting the sequestor, etc. etc.

I wonder what else is on the bipartisan menu for 2014? Amnesty? Obamacare fix? Internet tax?

This could be empty pablum for the LIV’s.

This is part of the central plank of the GOP 2014 strategy. Be nice to the Dems and tip toe to the election. Just a more extreme version of their 2012 strategy. They seem to have forgotten how it worked out last time.

Republicans in WDC continue to impress me with their out-of-touch arrogance. I’ll vote for my dog’s “leavings” before I vote for them. Conservatives only until I die.
