Fox News host Bill O'Reilly says the "pinheads" in the Republican Party should stop opposing the minimum wage.

"The Republican Party should really wise up and stop opposing raising the minimum wage. It should be 10 bucks an hour" to keep employers from exploiting workers, O'Reilly said Wednesday during his opening "Talking Points Memo" segment of his TV show.

O'Reilly said his proposed $10 an hour minimum wage would apply only to adults. Teenagers just beginning their careers should be paid on a lower scale, he said.

Ted Baxter is never at a loss for something amusing to say.

Michele Malkin refuses to go in his show after he belittled her a few years ago for standing with real conservatives.

BOR should have Dr. Sowell over for some private tutoring.

BOR is expressing his feelings instead of his knowledge of economics.

10*40*52=20,800.

How is a family supposed to survive on $20,800?

We need better jobs, not a political gesture.

He is there. The network is fully aware of him.

The network WANTS that message out.

The purpose of Fox is to push the viewpoints that nwo financial elites want conservatives to adhere to.

It’s the conservative half of agitprop.

Sometimes messages are pushed vigorously with urgency (typically when drumming up support for a war), other times it’s subtle and gradual (like when undermining Biblical morality, pushing gun control, statism, domestic espionage targeting American citizens, etc.).

Sometimes Ted Baxter opens up and exposes his stupidity to full public view.

Pretty much says it for me too.

He’s entertainment. Folks turn off their brains and watch in mesmerized silence.

If they gave the content any thought at all, they would switch channels and never come back during his hour.

It was a terrible book. Remember the part where he said it was impossible for Jesus to have said a word from the cross because of his injuries??????? In otherwords loudmouth BOR does not believe Jesus was God and does not believe the Bible.

Amen....those jobs are for teens, in between job workers, and the part time female who wants to work while children are in school. Those minimum wage jobs were never meant to be a career path. If they want more money, they should have stayed in school.

We thank God for the minimum wage job, as it gives teens a taste of the work ethic, and that life is hard...get prepared. Minimum Wages at $7.50 an hour at McDonalds, that’s about the cost of that meal, and at $15.00 an hour that will be the cost of that meal. If they keep pushing those jobs go to robots like in Europe....stupid logic isn’t it?

I understand the concept you’re addressing, and I pretty much agree. He does move folks in a certain direction, and I don’t particularly care for that direction.

Yes, Bill is right again.

In fact, it would be even better to raise minimum wage to $100/hour, right?

Or $1000/hr?

That way, everyone would have a ‘living wage’?

After all, government decrees alter reality and create value from thin air.

One annoying device BOR uses in the book, he keeps referring to Jesus as “the Nazarene”-—I go to church every week, and I never hear the priests do that.

This tells me BOR has no clue about the Constitutional limits on governmental powers.

Exactly WHERE does the Constitution grant the power to set the minimum wage, or gas mileage standards, or ban incandescent bulbs, or regulate coal-fired electric plants into the ground, among other outrages?

O'Reilly has become a marketing machine and not much more.

I have noticed that Megyn Kelly, who actually lets her interview subjects speak without interruption, is right behind O'Reilly in her viewer rating numbers.

I believe she will eventually pass him and be Fox's BIG drawing card.

If you notice, Fox has just enough conservatism to draw in conservative viewers.

Then it proceeds to constantly yet subtlely harp on turning towards socialism and new world order agendas.

Don’t forget, Rupert Murdoch is a member of the CFR just like every other “news media mogul”.

If wages are to be based on what a person wants instead of what they are worth to the employer then why not just totally break the connection between the value of an emplouee's work and give everyone $100 an hour.

Or maybe $500 an hour - No more, no less.

If an employer has to pay $10 an hour to a person only worth $8 an hour then why should the manager or foreman earn $30 an hour? Just move to a true socialist economy and just give everone the same wage, no matter what they do or how good, or bad, an employee they are?

After all, that policy worked out so well for the USSR.

I have been screaming this forever, 10.00 an hour does NOTHING to
pull someone from poverty! After taxes it is approx. $280.00 a week in
take home! Are these AHOLES kidding me! Of course ALL business
payroll taxes increase which means MORE MONEY for the government
AS USUAL!!!
