Immigration officials warn of amnesty ‘overload’
The Washington Times ^ | Thursday, January 30, 2014 | By Stephen Dinan - The Washington Times

The officers who would be charged with approving millions of applications from illegal immigrants for legal status warned Congress this week that they can’t handle the workload, and said the change would guarantee criminals and others would be approved to remain in the country.

In a letter to House Republicans, who are planning to announce principles Thursday that would include legal status for the estimated 11 million illegal immigrants already in the U.S., the labor union that represents U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services officers and adjudicators predicted it would be a disaster.

“There is no quality here, only quantity,” said Kenneth Palinkas, president of the National Citizenship and Immigration Services Council. “USCIS is not equipped to handle this workload, and due to political interference in its mission, is not empowered to deny admission to all those who should be denied due to ineligibility. We have become a visa clearinghouse for the world, rather than the first line of defense for a secure immigration system.”

Mr. Palinkas went on to say that any proposal that pushes millions of applications through would “overload the system.”

I don't think they care. I'll say they're getting paid off somehow, some way.

If the average American Joe or Josephine can't find work in their own country, these clowns couldn't possibly care less.

They rolled over for Obamacare and they want to roll over for this.

Right now they are something like 210 days backlogged on the normal volume of visa processing.

Rep. Ryan: GOP Looking at Legal Status, Chance for Citizenship

http://blogs.wsj.com/washwire/2014/01/29/rep-ryan-gop-looking-at-legal-status-chance-for-citizenship/

Rep. Paul Ryan (R., Wis.), a leading GOP advocate for tackling immigration, confirmed Wednesday that Republicans are looking to give illegal immigrants legal status right away, with the chance for a green card—and citizenship—down the line.

Officials familiar with the planning had said as much before. But Mr. Ryan is the first member of the GOP leadership to lay out the Republican vision publicly.

GOPe have gone from merely being unprincipled cowards to outright traitors.

They are about to make hundreds of thousands of registered republican voters, previously merely critical, into mortal enemies.

There were 9 million illegals in country in the 2000 census.

Today some 15 years later, they tell us only two million more arrived since then.

Anyone drinking that swill?

As they lose elections later this year, they'll still wonder why.

The economic collapse will come with Democrats fully in charge. The ‘blame Bush’ thing will still live, but the Democrats will get a lot of blame, too.

It won't be much of a country, though.

They've been selling America out for many years now.

Like you said, they're little more than traitors using their offices for personal gain.

Any good person that goes up there gets assimilated into the Borg Cube. Or the majority of them, anyways.

Worse, they'll blame the Tea Party.

Hey, O tells incredible lies and the Democrats believe it, so the Republicans figured they’d give it a shot, too.

Oh of course.

But I think the combination of Obamacare/DisasterCare and the economy will put a lot of them on display.

Not that it's gonna matter much when it all comes down. As I've said many times, it will be a Pyrrhic victory.

If amnesty in any form passes it really will be over.

Isn't that the essence of the Cloward–Piven strategy employed by Obama to fundamentally change America destroy the country?

Overload all systems until they collapse then "save" the day by replacing each with the socialist/Progressive alternative.

It’s working, too, because of idiot liberals who keep dreaming of Skittles and rainbows from the pied-pipers from Hades.

It’s both astonishing and scary to a fault.

The inmates are running the asylum and other inmates are cheering them on.

Tammy Faye just sent me an email asking for a donation to the RNC to stop the Democrats from destroying the constitution. At the bottom it says it was actually paid for by the Romney for President campaign. I sent back an appropirate response. :-)

Simple solution. Just make it illegal to ask about citizenship and by default assume everyone is a citizen.

What I want to know is why would illegals sign up. Of course they will sign up to vote democrat, but they arent going to want to jump in front of the line and say, “I want to be the first to pay taxes, enroll in obamacare, and stop using a stolen identity.”

If Ted Cruz, Rand Paul or anyone else wanted to guarantee his election, stand on the floor of the senate/house and proclaim that it is unconstitutional to not enforce the laws of the land, and abhorrent to reward illegal lawless behavior.

BUT...even if amnesty is passed...after the next election, it will be revoked, and the list of everyone that applied is going to be used to find and send them home.

The most brilliant part is that it would cause so much fear and panic there would be no reason for Dems to continue to push for amnesty. It goes down in flames.

Immigration officials warn of amnesty ‘overload’

The goal IS to overload the system. The solution will be to get rid of the border all together. Like the goal of Obamacare is to overload the medical system so its can be completely nationalized.

The appropriate response to an RNC fundraising solicitation?

Print out a handful of those McCain Pesos and throw them in the prepaid envelope.

Perhaps the NAU is the final objective.

There must be a reason the USA doesn’t appear prominent in End-Times Bible Prophecy.

I think we’re witnessing and (unfortunately) living it.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) thinks that the House GOP leadership’s renewed push this week to grant amnesty to illegal aliens would destroy the Republican Party’s chances at retaking the Senate in 2014.

Cruz questioned how establishment Republicans unilaterally caving to Democrats on everything from the farm bill to the budget to the debt ceiling and more could think amnesty is a good idea at this time.

“Right now, Republican leadership in both chambers is aggressively urging members to stand down on virtually every front: on the continuing resolution, on the budget, on the farm bill, on the debt ceiling,” Cruz said in a statement provided exclusively to Breitbart News on Thursday.

He continued:

I think the GOP knows this thing is going down like a rat in a sewer — so they’re gonna leave the Democrats in charge.

Illegal Amnesty will also finish their chances - ever.

Gee, America used to be such a great place. Now, we’re infested with traitors and liars in high political places.

I challenge anyone (sane, excludes libtards) to show that’s not the overwhelming majority of our “gov’t leaders”.
