I listened to Paul and Cruz on Hannity last night saying they’re not endorsing anyone.

The following is from Breitbart:

http://theconservativetreehouse.com/2014/01/30/ugh-ugh-ugh-rand-paul-and-ted-cruz-tell-sean-hannity-well-stay-out-of-any-gop-primary-race-that-involves-incumbents/

****Ugh, Ugh, Ugh, Rand Paul and Ted Cruz Tell Sean Hannity: We’ll “Stay Out Of Any GOP Primary Race That Involves Incumbents”…

Last night Sean Hannity interviewed Rand Paul and Ted Cruz together on his 10pm Fox show. The discussion included points of contrast between conservative principles and establishment Republican positions.

However, the very last question put to both of them was whether or not they will help up and coming conservatives with endorsements or support in the GOP primary races?

Rand Paul said: “I will stay out of any race that involves an incumbent“. Looking toward Paul, Ted Cruz responded: “I’ll likely do the same“.

Sorry folks, but that makes them both self-serving fraidy cats.

When Rand Paul was running for Senator in Kentucky 2010 the GOP machine and Mitch McConnell supported the other guy in the primary, Trey Grayson.

What Mitch McConnell does not want people to know: Trey Grayson is now the head of Democrat Gabby Giffords SuperPac – He works with Robert Reich, Bill Clinton’s former Labor Secretary:

Trey Grayson, the former Kentucky secretary of state and Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate in 2010, is running a political action committee formed by former U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords that will try to elect Democrats who want to work with Republicans. (link)

When Ted Cruz was running for Senate in Texas 2012, Mitch McConnell supported the other guy in the primary, David Dewhurst.

Cruz’s resurgence was surprising for many reasons. Dewhurst, the current lieutenant governor, has the support of the state’s powerful Republican establishment, including Gov. Rick Perry — himself a Tea Party figurehead. Dewhurst has outspent Cruz nearly 3-to-1, even though major outside groups like FreedomWorks have backed Cruz. Dewhurst also had the benefit of a large personal fortune to aid him. (link)

Both Ted Cruz and Rand Paul were strongly supported and would not have won without the support from the grass roots Tea Party.

However, now, now when they are needed most, especially in Kentucky - they choose to stand on the sidelines.****

No, just the opposite - the place to challenge RINOs is in the primaries. For instance, I am not supporting Cornyn in the primaries here in Texas. But, if unsuccessful in replacing the RINO in the primaries, we should then get behind the RINO in the election - for the most part, any Democrat will be even worse.

This mentality is what has enabled the GOPe to continue on their path of putting RINOs forward. These "moderates" are the the reason why Obammycare got through and the President is running unchecked. Thanks to these moderate Pubbies, Fast & Furious, IRS, and Benghazi has produced no accountability whatsoever.

No thanks, but your recommended strategy has not only proven to be useless as evidenced where we are today; but also enables more RINOs in the future.
