Wonder how many are anti-gun politicians that want to carry.
They know its coming.
Equal protection clause applies to thee (my public servant employee), not to me?
You know, I think it’s a great idea to let elected officials carry concealed weapons in government buildings. As long as the rest of us may do so as well!
This is exactly the effect terrorism desires to achieve. We have allowed them to win.
First freedom to fly without scrutinization of body parts, then visas, then guns, then autos, then phones, then permission to leave your street.
After that, permission to be born. Just wait. You'll see.
No problem - as long as anyone else who can legally carry is able to do the same.
The rest of us can Go Fish!
We sort of have that already.

In Minnesota it is a crime to carry in a courthouse unless you notify the Sheriff in the County of the Courthouse’s location that you have a permit and you may from time-to-time enter the courthouse.
However, while that seems to solve the problem, the Court has authority over the actual court facilities, and they generally issue orders preventing the possession of Weapons on court related areas of the courthouse, which in most small counties, excludes one unreachable restroom on the second or third floor.
Violating a court order is a lesser offense than failure to notify the Sheriff.
I don’t like this arrangement, because there are no security checks on any of the small counties unless there is a trial day with especially bad folks in attendance. Therefore, it is best to deal with the court by mail when possible.
They will be armed to protect themselves as they vote to pass more gun control legislation for the rest of us.
