Boeing 12th man flight - happening now.
Boeing Company ^ | 1/30/3014 | none

Boeing painted a plane with the Seahawks logo, including a big 12, and today that plane is flying over eastern Washington in a 12 pattern. You can see the progress here.

There are signs with "12" on them all over Seattle. This town is totally into it.

I hope the Seahawks win, but they need to up their game. The playoff against the 49ers was sloppy by both teams. Neither showed championship calibre.

I hope it is a close nail-biter, rather than having one team rack up a massive point total while the other team wishes they were home watching on TV.

Boeing probably added another $100-200,000 to the cost of the next 787 off the assembly line (or one of its military contracts) to cover the cost of the flight.

Seahawks and 49ers both are very strong defensive teams.
A low score was expected. Sherman is the best safety in NFL with more interceptions and more knockdowns than any other player.

Nope, not him specifically. The team.
They’re the most penalized in the NFL this season and a number of sports writers have wriiten about them cheating.

Boeing is a private sector corporation. So long their planes are selling like hot cakes, they can add whatever they can get away with.

Seahawks play aggressively. They do not intentionally break anyone’s legs. Record shows they have caused less injuries than most other teams. That is not playing dirty. Any aggressive defense will cause penalties. Seahawks managed get the best win/loss record in entire NFL during 2013 in spite of the penalties.

There are rules in football. The Seahawks have decided to break the rules often and play the odds of not getting called on it.
That’s dirty football and ruins the game.

They have actually ‘leased’ the use of the 12th Man from A&M.

I have to agree - the penalties are awful.

I’m not talking about the ‘12th man’

I’m talking about coaches who tell their players to go out & break the rules, because they won’t be flagged for all of them. I think the coaches should be fined & penalized for unsportsman-like conduct

I know, and they have to mention A&M when it is used. There are only limited places they can use it.

No, only sore losers call Seahawks play dirty. There is nothing illegal about aggressive playing. I hope Seahawks sack Manning multiple times on Sunday. And Sherman is sure to intercept Manning a few times as he has done all year long.

“There is nothing illegal about aggressive playing”

In reality it’s unsportsman-like conduct, at the very least. Coaches who tell their players to go out & break the rules, because they won’t be flagged for all of them....that’s not just aggressive playing.

It’s too bad you can’t see the difference

"Hope they also put that the trademark belongs to Texas A&M."

As long as the Seahawks don't put "12th MAN" it is not a trademark. They only put the number 12 which a number cannot be trademarked.

GO SEAHAWKS

12

Hmmmmmm...the last time Denver was written off for a super bowl win, it was the year they played Green Bay. Denver won that game easily. Also, the Chinese New Year this year is represented by the horse. Sorry, Seattle. Not going to be your year.

” Also, the Chinese New Year this year is represented by the horse. “

That might be a factor if the Super Bowl was in Beijing. (I shouldn’t have said that - it might give Roger Goodell ideas.)
