Why would you think that they are illegal aliens?

I’d be surprised if they were.

In the late ‘90’s I worked with men who were raising kids in a bad school district. The local authorities had altered the school districts to make more white kids attend a predominantly black school which is horribly rated, looks like a prison and where there are huge brawls. (Nothing about the school changed. They just wanted more whites. It’s hard to learn when your number one thought is living through the day.)

At least two (I think 4, but can’t recall for sure) sold their homes and moved deeply into better school districts. Because of the schools, homes in those districts are very expensive.

Homes in the other districts still sell at a discount.

In a nutshell, mom and dad separated. Mom moved to the better district and enrolled kid. Mom later moved back to Dad but the left kid enrolled in the other district. They claim not to have been smart enough to enroll her into her neighborhood school but found the smarts to set up an online defense fund. No sympathy here. You don’t like your school then you shouldn’t have moved there.

If a parent can afford to send their kids to a better school and don’t, they should be charged with child abuse.

Back in the 70s, Dallas, TX decided to bus across town black kids to white schools and white kids to black schools. Needless to say, it didn’t work. They locked us in our classrooms and pulled down the fire gates in the hallways to keep fights from breaking out. My parents put Dallas in the rearview window.

It might have been interesting for a good conservative lawyer to take the case and argue for school choice. They could put the public education system on trial.

He should have said his daughter was a Black Panther. They don’t touch them in Philly.

I’m going to file this under Sustainable Living.

Some people care about their kids. I drive 4 hours a day to keep my 10 year old kid in a great school. I’m retired, so I have the time. Everything is legitimate, the school invited my daughter because her grades increase the schools grade.

I just got a report card on the school, not my kid, the school. The school got a grade of 90% when Los Angeles Unified School District average is 51% for English. The school got a grade of 93% for Math when the LAUSD average is 63%.

When I was looking for a new place to live, I learned that schools will import students just to keep their schools open or their teachers working. I chose to move to a nice neighborhood and drive my kid to a decent school.

The best way to grow a neighborhood is to allow a school to manage itself. People will be attracted to better schools. Just this morning I noticed that where my kid goes to school the sidewalks are all level, not ramps created by tree trunks. I don’t know why some neighborhoods get these perks and others not, but I do know that there were decent neighborhoods I didn’t move to because of their schools.

Van Jones, Obama’s Ex Green Czar:

”If we want to survive as a species, we will have to live in massive mega-cities. Living at one with nature is just crap idealism from the past, and the suburbs are nothing more than archaic residue of racist white flight patterns.”
Snip
”Sprawl is a response to racial fear and anxiety on the part of white elites. The ‘burbs were designed as a vehicle to get away from people of color, investing more in the white infrastructure as they moved away from the city, and the neighborhoods where people of color live. Does that mean the only environmentally-sound, antiracist thing for whites to do is move back to the inner cities. Yes, it does.”

Sorry - the democrats, obama and teacher’s union say NO school choice for you.

So send your kid to a failing school in Philly so they can get a 3rd rate education for $14,000 spent per kid.

And keeping voting obama!

When I was in first grade, I was bussed across town to the predominantly black school- despite the fact that there was an elementary school a half a mile from my home.

I, and many other little girls who were also bussed in, were molested and assaulted on a daily basis. It was all the teachers and students knew so they didn’t think anyone was doing anything wrong. UNTIL I mentioned to my father how one boy threw me down and laid on top of me.

I learned at an early age that people are different.

This type of crackdown exposes public school districts -- and the whole concept of public education -- as a complete fraud.

A school board will pursue legal action against anyone who registers their kid in school from another district, but they're prohibited by law from prosecuting a kid who isn't even in the COUNTRY legally. ROFL.
