Paycheck Fairness: The president who repeated the feminist "77 cents" myth and touted equal pay for equal work in the State of the Union hasn't practiced what he preaches with the women he employs.
The feminist heroine that prompted the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act might be surprised to learn of the Obama White House's war on women, paying its female staffers only 87 cents on the dollar compared with their male counterparts. So when Obama lectured that "women deserve equal pay for equal work," he hasn't exactly been true to his school.
Last September, economist Mark J. Perry noted that an analysis of salary data from the 2013 Annual Report to Congress on White House Staff showed the 228 female White House employees were being paid a median annual salary of $65,000 while 231 male staffers earned a median annual salary of nearly $75,000.

That’s OK because they gave all the high paying jobs to white men, the women get administrative support and intern jobs.
Equal pay for equal work, WH exempt from Dem proposals anyway, like Obamacare.
The pooled median is not equal to the weighted average of the group medians; rather the pooled mean is equal to the weighted average of the group means.
But what are the weights? (how many women, how many men?)
Oh come on! Don’t we all KNOW that this pay rate was just ANOTHER BUSH policy and poor barry didn’t even KNOW about it til now!

I recall complaints a year ago that WH was putting mostly men in their higher positions, Kerry took over from Hillary.
How many of those jobs are apples to apples?

This does show the idiocy of libs equal pay law proposals, popular as they are with drones.
I should have read more carefully. the group sizes are almost equal. Even so, the 65000/75000 = 0.87 does not compute; you need to compare means.
