Recapping Yesterday's Victory Against Bigoted MSNBC

In case you missed it earlier this week, a tweet sent out on the official MSNBC Twitter page accused the "right wing" of hating biracial families.

After backlash, the tweet was quickly deleted. MSNBC tried to backtrack, saying this "isn't who they are," but they aren't fooling anyone. This is exactly who they are. Remember this? When Melissa Harris-Perry and her show panel mocked Mitt Romney's African-American grandson Kieran? When panelist and actress Pia Glenn sang "one of these things is not the same" about baby Kieran? Harris-Perry eventually issued an apology.

Twitchy quickly jumped on MSNBC's latest moment of bigotry this week prompting conservative columnist Michelle Malkin (and Twitchy founder), who is part of a biracial family, to create the hashtag #MyRightWingBiracialFamily. She urged people to send their photos of their biracial "right wing" families to MSNBC directly through social media. Dozens of people sent their photos in. One of those couples appeared on Fox News' The Kelly File last night to share their disgust over the comments.

RNC Chairman Reince Priebus sent a letter to MSNBC President Phil Griffin yesterday demanding a personal apology and banned all employees and people associated with the RNC from appearing on MSNBC programs until the apology was made. Just a few short hours after the letter was sent, an apology from Griffin was read on air at the network by Ari Melber.

What everybody is ignoring is “right wing”. There is never talk of “left wing”. Liberals and”progressives” are never identified as “left wing” and rarely even “liberal”. They just usually are, without any loaded label. Obama and his radical cabal are never called “left wing” or “leftist”. Only a kook or a divisive troublemaker would call them that. But RINO’s are extreme right wing.
Control the language and you control everything.

I don’t think you got the characterization of RINO right, and I am not talking about the meaning of.

more people learn of the lie here than heard it on MSNBC

By ranting and railing their garbage it gets spread.

MSNBC should be banned from FR by common consent

You say that like it's a bad thing. This lie did more damage to them than a lot of things I've seen lately, more even than the dumb-assed thing with the tampon earrings. Therefore, it needed to be dispersed as far and wide as possible.

Exactly. Fox and conservative talk radio are killing MSNBC and other lib MSM propaganda channels in the ratings. Recently there have been several very well publicized "mistakes" by MSNBC people. As others have noted these are a little too convenient. The series of incidents smacks of attempts to get cheap publicity.

It is either crass attempts at getting people to watch/listen for the next gaffe/insult, or their management really is incompetent and they have a bunch of dull-witted insult-hurling idiots still being allowed to work there. Me, I think it is probably a fair amount of both.

I understand MSNBC's ratings are not doing very well. Also, alJIZZera America's ratings are very disappointing (to them, of course). The other day the LSM seemed ecstatic over Duck Dynasty's ratings taking a slight dip, just goes to show who they fear.

I’ve been friends with biracial people growing up, we still keep in touch. Actually, these guys are considered “Jackson Whites”, closely related to the Ramapo Indians so they’re technically TRIracial. My lovely wife’s cousin married in to one of those families. Amazing how libs and many Blacks have a real problem with interracial relationships. I really wonder about NYC Mayor DeBLAHsio’s marriage? Is it true love? Or some biracial and/or bisexual fetish? Or just a socio-political statement to show the world he’s “down for the struggle?

Perhaps you missed my point. To leftists, progressives and other such they tend to characterize all others as right wingers.

Ban MSNBC? I disagree. Discussing their lies reminds people of what lying leftist scum they are.
