Palin leads the GOP field in latest polling data
The Beaufort Observer ^ | January 30, 2014

There are two stories here. First, you will note how Public Policy Polling reports the results of its most recent poll of most popular potential GOP candidates for president. If you click on the link and read the PPP narrative you would not realize that Sarah Palin is the choice of more Republican and unaffiliated voters of all of those mentioned. Yet they post Mike Huckabee as the choice. Just another example of how much the liberal Elite Media fears Palin.

The second story is, of course that Palin has a 70% approval rating to a 20% unfavorable. Huckabee has a 46/18 rating, not a significant difference. Of course the "big news" is how much Chris Christie has been hurt by the "scandal" over political retribution by some of his staff. Still nothing compared to the IRS scandal with Obama, but the Elites don't mention that.

It will be interesting to see how all this shakes out after the GOP discloses its amnesty for illegal aliens plans.

But credit where credit is due. At least in this poll the results reported were for likely GOP primary voters. In earlier PPP polls they included Democrats.

We think the overriding conclusion from these results is the fact that there are still way too many "undecided" to say there is a front-runner among any of these potential candidates.

I thought Romney was first again. Surely his hour has come.

I could enthusiastically support Sarah. But she would have to actually run, rather than just toy with the idea.

I thought it was Romney at the front.

And then Shmuckleberry at the front.

Not really sure what to make of these polls.

Sarah hasn’t really done much of note in the face of actual tyranny sadly.

She hasn’t been outspoken, and really hasn’t seemed to speak at all from what I can remember.

The person who has is Ted Cruz. He has stood up for my freedom in the face of real tyranny, and I won’t forget that.

He is the only person that I will vote for for president.

Everyone else has failed utterly.

Palin has a 70/20 rating (approve/unfavorable)
Huckabee has a 46/18 rating
not a significant difference

Huh? 70% is significantly higher than 46%. Or is the author trying to say that the unfavorable % is similar?

Erm, is this missing a sarc tag?

Please tell me it is?

Cuz, erm, well, Palin has been doing nothing BUT speak out about pretty much EVERY issue. Death panels, anyone?

Here’s a categorized collection of Palin speaking out since 2009:

http://hrh40.wordpress.com/palin-policy/

Were you under a rock in 2010 and 2012, when she, you know, spoke out for dozens of candidates, and went down and, you know, campaigned in person with Nikki Haley, Susana Martinez, and dozens of others, including yes, Ted Cruz?

Tried to get Steve Lonegan in for Senator from New Jersey just last October.

Her first endorsement for 2014 has been Tim Scott for reelection to Senator (she also endorsed him for Rep in 2010):

Romney and Rove will NOT be happy.

No doubt they will get out their attack-surrogates, AGAIN.

Much as I would like to see her run, I think her son, Trig, has priority in her life right now.

After carrying most of the load for years, it is good that Palin got Cruz elected, he is helping to share the burden of giving conservatives strong leadership.

They make a great team.

Yes, very true, but where is she today? It’s 2014 and just like 2010 and 2012, there are elections! I like Sarah, but she’s not really “around” at least that I can see.

She is the best “king-maker” we have.

Thank her for Ted Cruz, Marcia Blackburn and others.

With her behind the scenes, the LSM can’t indoctrinate the LIVs against her any more.

That anyone thinks shrillery is more qualified, shows how doomed this country is.

Scott Walker has done a damn good job of doing the same, beating back the labor union bullies in Wisconsin.

The GOP leaders are done with her

She could not win a general election against a dem. there’s nothing to NOT like about her, but no

The one that the GOP bosses are shaking over is the one who, in sincerely working for the country, everyone, will win it only a recognizable conservative can do that (and he doesn’t have to say he’s conservative)

Sarah would give the dems a victory. She knows that. One has to be very wise to their ways at all times

The one that wl make the GOP frightened is the republican who can win. And they’ll sabotage him
