Democrat nominee for the Governor's Mansion in the Lone Star State is finding herself at the receiving end of a new ethics violation complaint filed with the Texas government, as reported by Fox News on Jan. 30, 2014 via Watchdog.org on Jan. 29, 2014

State Senator and darling of the left since her recent pro-abortion filibuster in the Texas State Legislature, Wendy Davis has just been figuratively slapped with accusations that she failed to disclose income as well as ties to lobbyists as required by state law for those seeking elected office.

The editor of the citizens rights/journalism activists group Watchdog Wire – Texas, Lou Ann Anderson, filed a complaint with the Texas Ethics Commission, claiming Davis failed to disclose $25,000 in both interest and dividends she earned from 2010 to 2012.

The same Austin jury that convicted Tom DeLay (and had their conviction later overturned) would find her “not guilty” by reason of Democrat.

Why didn't Davis run for the U.S. Senate?

She would have far more power and prestige within the liberal cocktail circuit as a Senator than TX Governor, which is the weakest Governor position in the nation.

Could’t’ just about ALL politicians be brought up on the same charges? Probably. 99 % of them are scum.

I’ve been wondering when someone would start talking about her current law partner, a former chief of staff to Rick Perry. It’d be nice to know more about that guy. Anyone who has had access to high-level state Republicans and then turns up in a partnership with a Progressive harpy like Wendy Davis has gotta make your spider-sense tingle.

Hiding income to affect her child care payment amount.
One of the things people who abandon their kids typically do.

From the posted article:

...Davis failed to disclose $25,000 in both interest and
dividends she earned from 2010 to 2012...

Davis was long beyond any child care payments in the above mention timeframe.

Given Newby's bio, how he fits into this puzzle is not at all clear.

More research is definitely warranted.

I do hope the Davis clownette is not forced out of the race. I want to see the Democrats lose stupendously with their nr. 1 choice.

Agree with your post.

Her major function must be to absorb national progressive campaign $$ in a losing effort.

It’s actually true. Texas Governor holds no real power. It is truly a figurehead position.
