You saw “professor” and “Columbia University” and thought she’d be a Tea Party or John Birch Society member?

Here’s the beginning of the discussion, LINK your comment, which evoked a stream of “all women are -” talk, including the P word, which, I don’t expect to see here on FR, and to which I commented that the thread had been hijacked.

Can you please link me to where the P word was used?  I'd like to see where it was used.  Was it really used, or did you have to extrapolate out a word to get outraged at?  Did those dirty minded ole men go off track and spoil your day again?  Awwwww...

As a matter of fact, something you seem to have a problem acknowledging here, our discussion did not start there.  It started here:  LINK  Yep, that was the highly offensive comment that sent you p-----.  The word is postal since you seem to have a rather limited P word vocabulary.

Here it is:

LOL, I hear ya...

There you go.  That was the highly offensive demeaning comment about women that caused you to address me the first time.

This is the post I was responding to:  LINK

the natural state of women is unhappiness. if you ever need to know what’s wrong in your relationship, house, car, etc just ask and a list of stuff will be uttered.

it’s why God made Eve last. didn’t want someone over His shoulder saying “it’s nice, but what about...” for every single thing.

Most folks would take this in stride, read it and move on.  I did.  My response was one of expressing a jovial moment, acknowledging the post, and moving on.  I did not express agreement, or displeasure with it.  I mearly indicated I laughed, and said, "I hear you..."

Someone says, "Every time my wife comes in the room with me, the sky turns gray, storm clouds form, our dog drops dead and the cat winds up pregnant."  If I said, "LOL, I hear you...", would that be an afirmation and indication that I believed that truly happened?  Of course not.  But when you read my response, you took it to mean that I agreed with the guy 100%.  Did I?  No.  So your first post to me was evidence of you jumping to a conclusion.

Let me educate you a little.  Some men don't have a lot of women in their lives.  The women that are in their lives act the way the person I posted to says they do.  He extrapolates out that all women are that way.  Is he entitled to his opinion?  Yes he is.  I know that's going to send you into a psychological death spiral, but you don't get to tell other humans what their perceptions are.  It doesn't mean they hate women either.  Most husbands don't stay with someone they hate.  They will form their own opinions and they will express them.  At times they will go overboard.  Sometimes what they say will truly represent exactly how they see it.  And you know what, they have a right to express themselves even if you disagree stridently!

Does this make them a mysoginist?  No, it really doesn't.  I means they could have a skewed view of women.  It does not mean they hate all women.

This is why men haven't needed a word that depicts women that hate men.  Number one, so what if a woman hates all men.  Why shouldn't she, if she wants to.  Perhaps she has good reason.  It may not be a valid reason, but it's her reason and it's okay for her to believe as she wishes.  Isn't it?  Are you going to tell me, "NO!  She can't do that!"  Of course not.

If that’s ballistic in your mind, that speaks for itself.

If you look at your performance on this thread, I believe it's hard to come away not thinking this guy had you pegged to a tee, whether all women are as unhappy or not.

Now, you come up with the requisite, "Why I truly love men, and men love me, and I'm the happiest person alive." response and we'll be off to the next big offense you can drum up.  It's not my experience that women who are happy find the need to deny other people the right to their own beliefs and express them.

Here’s my first comment on this thread:  LINK

I am so fricken tired of gender politics.

At the end of the day, women pretty much go what they wanted.

Now they’re still unhappy. Well, on those matters, that pretty much makes it unanimous.

I am tired of gender politics.  At the end of the day, women did get pretty much what they wanted.  And you know what, it's really hard to come away from what is presented in the media today, with the impression that women are happy.

Who did most women vote for, Clinton or his opponents?  Answer: Clinton  Who did most women vote for, Obama or his opponets?  Answer: Obama

Any guesses why?  The fact of the matter is, they thought Clinton and Obama could fix them.  These two would change our nation to be more women friendly.  To me that expresses a mind-set of disattisfaction.  Tell me, did women get the government to pay for contraceptives because they were happy with their lot in life?

Most female teachers don't abuse their kids.  I'll grant you that.  Unfortunately there is a considerable number of women out there who despite having a degree, have decided they can't be happy without taking advantage of young underage boys.

I go to take a college course and the phsych teacher stands up in front of the class, addresses the women, and states: "Ladies, if there's any advice I can give you, it's to not stay in your relationships if you are unhappy.  If you have come to a place where you are unhappy, just get out right now.  Don't try to work it out, just get out."  This professor felt strongly enough about this, that she felt
she had to address every woman in the class, because there was a strong likelihood women in there needed to hear it.

The Democrats have tapped into this for decades, promising women this and that.  It has really paid off for them.  In most general elections, women vote for the Democrat contender.

Women are divorcing their husbands at higher rates than ever before.

Look, you may not like it, but there is reason to think women are not nearly as happy as they thought they would be, when they exclaimed they needed to be treated more like men, be allowed to go out in the business world and compete.

If this tweaks your sensitivities, you probably need to toughen up.

Does this mean I hate women?  Let's see if you can figure that out.  I have my doubts.

yeah and when God asked eve why she ate, she said the serpent you made deceived me.

consider the fate of eve if adam hadn’t gone along with her and ate the fruit also.

Commentaries often talk of Adam partaking because he loved Eve so much that he wanted to prevent being separated from her, and was willing to accept her fate to ensure that.

Leave it to a spiteful hag on a venom binge to trash him for it.

and this might be one of the multiple reasons God would offer mankind salvation but not the angels. symbolically this is similar to Jesus’ own redemptive decision or all of us, the infinite difference being He has the power to save us, Adam didn’t.

I am curious as to why the narrative is not about a long suffering husband who stood by his wife and allowed her to pursue her dreams, only to be rewarded with her deserting the family once any financial obligations for her pursuit of her dreams had been satisfied?

Just curious...

no, i mean ponder what outcome would have occurred for eve, if adam decided he would not eat the fruit she offered him.

he would have been able to live forever and continue sinless, not be sentenced to death, not lose fellowship with God. eve would have been cast out and would have eventually died.
