The statement was certainly boneheaded, but when you visualize someone in the NFL being called a thug, do you visualize a white person or a black person? Are white players called dirty players or are they called thugs? If people answered honestly, I think they would likely visualize a thug being a black person coming from a ghetto environment and who had been involved in trouble while in school, maybe even gang activity, drugs, and weapons. Just my initial thought.

If the seahawks offense keep Manning off the field....they will win...
Denvers defense is rated 14th in the league...
Defense wins games...seahawks are # 1....

Hawks 38 Broncs 24. Seattle beat them already 40-10, sure it was preseason and Manning drove the opening drive for their only TD, but I can guarantee the Hawk defense will remember that drive. Seattle just brings too much on both sides of the ball. And remember all of Wilson’s stops by Pete Carrol will be pulled and that opens Denver’s defense up to big runs by Wilson, just too many weapons to stop. Then add in Harvin as the wildcard with super speed and I don’t in any way see a Seahawk loss. Can’t wait to watch this game!!
