Captain Obvious here:

He said a plan that puts security first could only pass if lawmakers believe the administration would enforce it — an unlikely prospect given Republicans’ deep opposition to Obama.

Let’s hope that we have put this divisive issue behind us so that we can focus on demolishing the Democrats in the next election.

Why should the GOP pass anything? We all know that if the House passes a law prescribing the size of a thimble, the Senate could take it up, pass it and the 0bama regime could interpret this as universal US voting rights and welfare for anyone on the planet.

RE: “Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis., said distrust of President Barack Obama runs so deep in the Republican caucus that he’s skeptical the GOP-led House would pass any immigration measure.”

Actually, I distrust the GOP leadership, including Paul Ryan, all of whom support Amnesty.

BS, the only way this does not pass is if Bonehead determines even with 100% of the dems voting for it, almost every one of the GOP caucus votes against it. That will not happen. So, there must also be some number of dems who will not vote for amnesty, not many, but enough to make bonehead toe the line, till next year.

Captain Obvious

No kidding. How these back-stabbing cowards ever thought they could get this through in such a year as this, is totally beyond me.

Personally, I think they went through the motions of this ridiculous kabuki dance to satisfy their corporate masters. The American people are in no mood for this foolishness, while 90 million legal citizens are out of work, and Obamacare is wrecking their health care.

I guarantee you there isn't a single political consultant who thought this was a good idea. Well, maybe not on the right. The ones on the left probably think it's a wonderful idea.

Ryan is a stinking GOPe rat lying through his scumbag teeth. He knows pushing amnesty this close to elections will cause some of his lib republican buddies to get tossed out of their cushy little club. Much better to wait until after primary season to screw the base.

Any deal that includes a path to citizenship is no deal, it’s a complete cave.

Because Obama WILL NOT execute his side of ANY deal.

Basically you can’t make a deal with someone who lies and wont follow through on their end of the bargain.

Mistrust of the GOP-E AND Barry Obammy should kill this piece of excrement, but,,, never underestimate the stupid GOP in their ability to screw this country.
